one of the oldest gymkhanas in india. colonial building. being an army officer , we were welcomed into the premises. they have strict dress codes and why not. the tea planters of today carry on with the age old traditions set by the gorajis.

Quite a terrible place . They have crazy attire restrictions that prevent you from eating in their restaurant. Additionally if you are dark skinned they treat you like second class citizens.

A centenary club established by British before independence. Mainly a club to cater needs of tea planters.Bar available.Golf course attracts defence personnel also.Annual local bred horse race in February.

The 9 hole golf course with natural surroundings and heritage building established in 1876 is a must visit landmark in Jorhat. Also organise annual Indian pony horse race in the month of Jan-Feb is an another attraction.
