We trek and climb all the way to the summit of Margharita Peak at the end of September 2016. This park is great for hike and nature lovers. Even Though the hike is quite though due to the condition of the trail, it's worth it and the national park is improving continuously the trail, with metallic ladders and boardwalks on... More

We went with Rwenzori Trekking services for a one day hike into the mountains. Although the starting area is quite interesting (you will see the locals, coffee farms, and there are some nice views), when you arrive at the protected park area the scenery is much of the same. We walked along a riverbed in a forested area, there are... More

We reviewed this activity on trip advisor and on the company's website. There were great reviews for 2-3 day walks but no reviews for 1 day. We only had time for 1 day but we're disappointed and should have missed out. We spent hours on a vertical climb with glimps of views and no flat viewing point for lunch. This... More

Rwenzori mountain is trully beautiful. Yhe trails might be difficult because of the mud and wet weather but it's worth the effort to trek the mountain. I went out with Rwenzori Trekking Service and they provide excellent services. The huts are in great condition with decent toilet. I just had problem with the lead guide who tried to get more... First of all, thanks to the amazing guides (Johnston, Andrew and Cornelius) from RMS we mad it to the peak of Margarita!!! But also the ways from an to the summit was full interesting and adventurous events. The trails are well maintained, although not easy to walk, the boardwalk in some places are extremely helpful, but have their challenges, too.... More

Recently (July 2016) did a 2-day trek on the Kilembe trail with Rwenzori Trekking Services. We had been hoping to be able to do the longer option 2-day trek up to the 2nd camp, however one of my friends started experiencing altitude sickness. One of our guides was willing to take me and my other friend up to the second... More

In the beginning we were wondering if its possible to do a few days' excursion in the Rwenzoris but found contradicting answers. We had just 12 days in Uganda and we wanted to do track chimpanzees, raft the river Nile, Hike the Rwenzoris and visit the Murchison falls. We contacted our guide said its possible to do all this if... More

We hiked this mountain with a group of friends and would say it's the most beautiful and most challenging mountain in Africa. I have been to Mount Kenya, Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru but Rwenzori is a whole new level. There are several mountain peaks in Rwenzori Mountain ranges. We climbed the highest, Mount Stanley which lies in the border... More

I spent in Rwenzori 2 weeks. The most beautiful place I've visited in Uganda. It's not for laid back safari lovers, but more for adventure lovers. The nature is so pristine that you don't be scared to drink water from natural source. I recommend to contact park headquarters near Ruboni village for lesser known nature walks. I recommend nature walk... More

I ran to the park from Hima and was given a wonderful welcome when I arrived at the park entrance. Running to the park have me a wonderful experience, with children running with me a long the way. The views are beautiful all the way to the park entrance. Once inside it gets better and better with so many things... More
