I booked a 7 days tour including chimpanzee as well as gorilla tracking and could not be happier to have chosen Bujo Safaris. Communication was very transparent and easy from the start and I felt in the best hands throughout my journey.
Johnson is very knowledgeable and considerate tour guide who ALWAYS puts his clients first. You can feel that he loves his country and wants his guests to leave Uganda with the best memories possible. What impressed me most was that he always thinks one step ahead and in constant exchange with other tour guides to stay up.to-date. He even made spontaneous adaptations to our itinerary based on the current situation (game to be observed in the National Parks) and my interests.

My partner and I booked an 11 day tour with Bujo Safaris starting on the 3rd of September 2022. The plan was to leave from Kampala and visit many of Uganda’s attractions: Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth NP, Kibale NP, Bwindi NP, Lake Mburo NP, Lake Bunyonyi, and more. What can I say? Everything went perfectly according to plan and this tour has exceeded our expectations! Johnson is an excellent driver and has always made sure that we were taken care of and that we would not miss any of our activities. You can tell that nothing made him happier than seeing us being mindblown by Uganda’s incredibly beautiful nature, animals and people. When we had small mechanical issues, he reacted very quickly to find suitable solutions while the car was being fixed so that it wouldn’t delay our trip.
Would highly recommend Bujo Safaris to anyone going to Uganda in the blink of an eye!

I booked a 3 days Gorilla trekking trip with Bujo Safaris and Johnson was very professional when choosing accommodation.
I trekked the Oruzogo gorilla family and this was an amazing experience.

Just returned from our 10 Days gorilla, chimpanzee and Wildlife tour around Uganda.
We booked our Tour with Bujo Safaris. Johnson acted so proffesional when he was replying to our inquries and also Helped us customize our Accommodation and vehicle to use for our Tour.
Upon arrival, we were picked by Charles our driver guide. Charles is so aknowlegable and friendly guide, he Helped us spot a variety of wildlife including the endangered Mountain gorillas in Bwindi. Honestly, we had great times during our stay here.
When it comes to accommodation, Johnson booked for us excellent accommodation with spacious rooms and delicious meals with beautiful views to the wilderness.
We greatly thank you Johnson and we Highly recommend Bujo Safaris for Gorilla Tours and Wildlife safaris

I had a wonderful experience with Bujo Safaris during my 8 days tour around Uganda’s National Parks to Kibale, Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi.
Johnson helped me to Organize the itinerary and booking of the trip was very well planned.
My guide Deus, really made me feel comfortable during the trip.
The accommodations were beautiful blending in nature and wildlife. I felt in very good hands during the entire trip and I can highly recommend Bujo Safaris.

I and my wife had an Excellent 15 Days tour around Uganda with Bujo Safaris.
On receiving our Inquiry for the tour, Johnson acted very professional in replying our Emails and Customizing our tour with Beautiful accommodation Facilities.
Upon arrival, we were picked up by Charles our Driver guide who was very knowledgeable about wildlife and Very Patriotic to his country Uganda. Charles was very friendly and had amazing stories about wildlife and his country. I surely can't thank him enough.
We visited Uganda's untamed National parks and spotted some Big 5 and the Mountain Gorillas in Bwnindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
I must say that we had Excellent accommodation. We slept in spacious rooms with beautiful wild views to the park and wildlife. We surely Had memorable moments with Bujo safaris and Charles.
Thank you Bujo Safaris for this Great trip and we surely Recommend Bujo Safaris 100%

my aunt booked us a 6 day trip to explore Uganda 〓 & it was a unique experience right from the start,the tourist van was so amazing it had a water cooler and WiFi router ,imagine being connected and Hydrated at the same time while on a road trip ,it was cool with Mr Johnson as our guide .
We visited a couple of destinations that included cultural and heritage sites and the most amazing was gorilla trekking in the jungle walking through the forest looking for the gorillas in their natural habitat .
I would highly recommend bujo Safaris to any person who is planning to visit Uganda

Johnson Burihose of Bujo Safaris guided us on a 5-day unforgettable excursion in Uganda. His passion for his homeland is infectious, and his deep knowledge provides an intimate understanding of the country. Johnson was very communicative way before we arrived; staying in touch until our trip began early with a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Bujo Safari’s ‘tricked out’ Land Cruiser. We had a photo-op stop at the Equator, unforgettable gorilla trek on day 2. Johnson then introduced us to a Pygmy village, offering fascinating cultural insights and a chance to dance with locals. Then onto Lake Bunyonyi, we enjoyed a boat ride to the hotel and Tyson’s captivating stories. Finally, we explored Queen Elizabeth National Park, witnessing a leopard’s hunt—a highlight not to be missed. Chimpanzee trek, walking with zebras and giraffes and don’t forget, if time allows, the illusive Shoebill Stork; if you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse in the swamps off Kampala before heading to the airport.
Our group was small, me, my husband and niece and we never felt scared (well …there is a tricky road to the gorillas with no guardrail that gave my heart a jolt) or unattended; Johnson knows everyone and they are all happy to see him. My advice on these safari’s is to bring small money like 20K-50K shillings for tipping. I know it seems all inclusive, but the tipping is not. Ugandans are hardworking amazing people and a little kindness goes a long way

My third Uganda tour hosted 8 days by BUJO safaris this month was dependably wonderful.
Tourguide Johnson took excellent care of us from pickup at Entebbe airport to dropoff.
This trip was focused on visiting Rotary projects and fellowships in three cities, Entebbe/Bwebajja , Kasese and Nakivale Refugee settlement.
Though we did not do wildlife trekking on this trip Johnson still spotted cool animals on the side of the highway, including an elephant in the bushes.
He always shares knowledge about the wildlife.and local people
Johnson hired a bigger spacious 4x4 vehicle this time so we could drive faster and smoother on our long stretches
Even with some surprise interruptions in our schedule, we got safely on time to each visit stops. Even a bit early
Our visits were to celebrate import project launches at two of our Rotary project villages.
Johnson was very professional in relating to everyone, accommodating around the schedule.
He made sure we arrived in time and ready for each event.
He was also very discrete and patient during some of the long ceremony times just to make sure our visits went well.
He even surprised some of our hosts that he could speak their local language. Somehow he always make sure that each stop goes well.
Then, to finish off my trip with a nice surprise
He lined up a delightful glamping hotel overlooking s small lake near Entebbe airport for a relaxing final day
Although he was eager to share more of the wildlife local culture, this was the end of a four-week 4-country trip for me. so a quiet final day of rest was just perfect for me
I look forward to bringing a bigger group with me next summer for our Rotary Safari combining Rotary projects snd wildlife touring
I always know with BIJO that we will have a safe and splendid time. For a very reasonable cost
