My 23 yr old son and I just returned from Rangiroa diving 7 two tank days with TopDive. Every dive was very different depending on the current, incoming, outgoing or slack tide, with very different sea life. We saw huge schools of barracuda, green morays,...More

My husband and I had a great experience diving with Top Dive in Rangiroa in May 2017. We did 10 dives with the Top Dive operation, mostly with dive masters Caroline and Yannick on others. We did one sunset dive with Vai. This operation and...More

We went on a family dive vacation and everyone said that it was the best diving ever. We where a little rusty, since it was a while since the last dove. Our instructor NICO was the best dive instructor who lives and enjoys his job....More

The Top Dive staff are very knowledgeable and professional divers. They have plenty of knowledgeable staff to answer any questions you may have. I dove with Coraline, Hiti and Vai, and all were excellent dive masters. You go to Rangiroa to dive either the Avatoro...More

I do not normally write reviews and this is my first one.....I had a great refresh dive and fun dive with Arnauld. I am an occasional diver and hadn't dove for 7 years - the refresh dive was perfect for me and allowed me to...More

I bashed Top Dive on Bora Bora, but I cannot say enough good things about Top Dive on Rangiroa. We dove with them 4 days. It was easy to check in with them and they kept our gear so we didn't have to carry it...More

You come to Rangiroa to dive, and Top Dive at Kia Ora is as good as it gets with its convenience and proximity to the best dive locations. We had bought a dive package and did 6 dives in 3 days, all of them amazing....More

The dive shop for TopDive at the Kia Ora resort is everything you can want. Great service, great retail shop, free nitrox, solid dive instructors, the boat dock right there, and a 5 minute boat ride to Tiputa Pass. Why use anyone else? The first...More

Visiting the islands briefly we opted for Top Dive for logistical reasons. Friendly people, fantastic dive guide with a good sense of humor, mr. positivity. Equipment could be a touch better, bit more variety in masks and fins would help. Nice dive site choosen and...More

Is nitrox certification necessary before we come to top dive? We are fairly new at scuba. We all have open water certs. Thanks jay.

It would be an advantage to have an entry level Nitrox qualification - always good practice to be trained on the breathing mixture you're using. I guess you may be using dive computers. If so, a Nitrox capable one... More

Is open water certificate enough to fully exerience Rangiroa? I wonder if I should dive as an open water, or get AOW certification before diving in Rangiroa (or get AOW while in Rangiroa?)

Open water cert is the only requirement. All dives with Top Dive use Nitrox. Nitrox cert is not required since the dives are well within the no decomp limits and the max depth restriction for the Nitrox mix used during... More

Did you dive 1-tank dives or 2-tank dives? If you dove 1-tank a day, was that sufficient?

The dives are all single tank dives. After the dive the boat returns to the shop for the next dive. You have the option of doing multiple dives per day splitting the dives between typically two dive trips in the morning and... More
