A Must Visit Memorial
Jan 2020
The Netaji Subhash Chandra Memorial in Cuttack was a very pleasant surprise.

Tucked away in a nondescript corner of Cuttack, the house where Netaji was born has been converted into a memorial. It is well maintained and surrounded by a lush garden full of flowers. The museum itself is divided into sections related to his birth, early upbringing and later exploits, both as a Congress leader and as the leader of the Indian National Army.

I wish there were lesser spelling and grammatical errors in the write-ups, clearly, someone was not paying attention. I hope the authorities will look into this.

There is a small souvenir shop just outside the museum selling reasonably priced memorabilia.

The best museum I have ever visited till date. This is the place where a legend was born. The founder of Azad Hind Fauz. The real hero responsible for the independence of our country. You can find here the legacy of the Bengal Tiger. A must visit place. Long live Netaji. Jai Hind

When we toured Odisha last week,we were very clear we had to visit this place, birth place of one of India's greatest sons. Nothing can be more inspiring. It is very well maintained, freshly white coated with beautiful garden. The museum is well documented ,with some rare and not seen elsewhere photographs. It is five star rating, but I have put four stars, mainly because not many knew about the place. For Odisha tour,we had booked a private taxi to go around. Taxi company was very reluctant to take us to this place,I had to fight with them.Right in Cuttuck,no one could show us the correct way,(including GPS) Museum must take steps to popularise the place, Staff, there, unfortunately looked very apathetic.

A nice visit to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Birth Place Museum Cuttak
Jan 2019 • Family
A grate experience of us to visit the Netaji birth place Cuttack. It ambiance was very nice. We went to that place from Bhubaneswar by car. Entry fee to the museum Rs 10/- per person. The beautiful gardening around the museum along with nice emotional photos of Netaji around the garden. It took 1 hour to visit the two storied museum. The museum covered birth room, reading room, prism ambiance, library ( you can read books from library), INA (Indian National Army) bank , number of photos of political movements etc. There is a sell counter for different kinds of books, T Shirts etc.
