This is a great experience for me and my family. You get a great view of the rainforest and could stop at different stations to have a walk around and see the Barren falls. My 3yo son enjoyed his cable car ride very much, so I would recommend this for families with young children.

Booked online for 5% discount which was great and booked to be picked up from out hotel, it gives you a time slot and is reasonably priced for the connivance and the man who picks you up is very friendly and gives you a bit of a talk on the way. The view from the cable cars is incredible! It... More

This is a wonderful trip. I really enjoy doing this any time that I am in Cairns. It is a little bit expensive but it is worth it. The views of the rainforest is great and I love stopping and having a look at the Barron River Falls.

Not for people scared of heights! It was very beautiful but made some awful noises everytime it went past a tower. It was also quite windy and the carriage swayed in the wind 😅😅

The region is not only about the Great Barrier Reef. There is great sightseeing opportunities in the interior. Great to be "flying" over the canopies. The final destination is the village of Kuranda where you can shop around the opals shops. Do not expect great gastronomical experience and be aware that this is a tourist destination. It will not be... More

Booked this trip from the UK well before visiting. My questions were answered quickly from the company and we chose to do the Sky pods first and then come back to Cairns railway station. Go early in the morning if you do it this way and you will have plenty of time to get off at the two rainforest stations... More

We pre-booked this trip online after searching for things to do for one day in Cairns and were not disappointed. We travelled from Smithtown to Kuranda and when we arrived for our slot at 11am there were no queues and we were able to pretty much walk straight onto a gondola. The views were breathtaking and the carriages felt safe... More

What a view, amazing scenery and the stops are awesome...educational and explorative. I would recommend this activity for everyone as it encapsulates nature, technology and tourism as its best. Very safe and vey helpful guides and staff. Nothing appears to be a problem... clean cars and the photo at the end are great and you are not hassled to purchase.

Loved the perspective of seeing the rainforest canopy from above. The stops are great, particularly the Barron Gorge lookout - spectacular. Plenty to see and do at Kuranda. This is clearly a well run operation that supports local employment. You will have a great day.

It's not often you get to fly over a rainforest in a cablecar that provides 360-degree views. The Skyrail was outstanding finish to a day in the Kuranda rainforest. The view was beautiful. There were two stops inside the rainforest allowing you to immerse yourself in Kuranda. If you visit Kuranda, I highly recommend taking the Skyrail.
