The Skyrail is the best way to visit a rain forest. You see the rain forest from above as you glide above the canopy in a gondola and you can walk in the rain forest at two locations where you change from one gondola to another. Guided walked with a forest ranger are available at the first of these two... More

I feel I'm just repeating what everyone else has said. This really is a must-do activity. Our hotel kindly arranged a tour for us through Relax Tours. This included transport to and from accommodation and cost of trip itself. Obviously you pay for the transfer trip but all the stress of how to get there is removed if you don't... More

Went on the diamond class. So worth the extra price. Highly recommend with the glass floor and seeing the rainforest from above. The views were spectacular. Nice relaxing ride and the stops to view parts of the rainforest are breathtaking. If you're in the area on holidays you should do this. We caught the kuranda scenic railway train up and... More

After taking the scenic railway up to Kuranda and spending the day wandering around the Kuranda village this was the perfect way to end our day. We got on the Skyrail at the Kuranda village and headed down to the bottom the views were fantastic going over the tops of the trees and looking towards the horizon. There are two... More

I upgraded for the glass floor. It was worth it if you aren't afraid of heights. Beautiful views, friendly helpful staff. Hotel pickup & drop off service! Very nice

Went on the glass bottom on the way over was wonderful. I suggest you go early in the morning as you get better photos and is a lot quieter. We were lucky enough to get the cabin to ourselves both ways, even though coming back we didn't do glass bottom. People are very helpful and knowledgeable. A must to do.

I hate heights and cable cars BUT felt that I should try this one, and boy was I right to do it. The trip arranged from the UK was a full day with one way up to Kuranda on the sky rail and return on the scenic railway. The up trip on the cable way was brilliant, you have to... More

I booked through a travel operator and hence got a decent price with transfers to and from sky rail. I even got an upgrade to a big fancy coach on my return which was a bonus! The bus arrived on time and the driver was very professional and knowledgable about the city and surrounding environment. When we got to the... More

We loved this! So scenic! A terrific way to see the rainforest. It ends in Kuranda, which was a bit disappointing - just shops targeting tourists.
