We had a lovely clear day and we travelled down from Kuranda having got the train up. Spectacular way to see the sheer scale and majesty of the rain forest. We got out at Barons Falls and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommended

We did the skyrail into Kuranda and we paid for the diamond view upgrade. The upgrade is definitely not worth it. You're just looking straight down into trees. The best views are in the horizon and in the surrounding area. We spent very little time looking straight down. The gondola ride did provide for great views, but it wasn't anything... More

This event is a little bit more commercial but is VERY well organized and handled and well worth the trip!

This was a great way to start the day, when you order a coffee be aware you cannot take on the gondola. The view as you go up is fantastic, we had the diamond view with glass bottom, worth the extra $10. The first stop is pretty good but trumped by the stop at the falls, wow what a view!!!!... More

This a great way to view the rainforest. There are two stops where you can get off and wander around. The view of the waterfalls is spectacular.

An amazing view and super fun. I recommend booking the gondola with the glass floor so you can look straight down. It was awesome

We went on the skyrail 10.30am and booked our return trip for 1pm (they suggested 2pm but we tend to move through things pretty quickly). This was adequate time for us to get off at each stop and walk around and have lunch at Kuranda. We took our toddler in the stroller and you could either take it on with... More

I took this trip in conjunction with the Train from Kuranda. The trip is made up of three sections and there are two stops along the way where you can walk around a bit. I enjoyed the RedHill stop the most as you can get a ranger talk as you walk around the boardwalk and hear interest bits about the... More

Great views over Cairns and then over the rainforest. Stops along the way let you experience a bit of the forest first hand and gives you amazing views of the Barron Falls. There's an option to have a glass bottomed 'gondola' but not convinced that's needed.

Great experience. Recommend combining with Scenic Railway. Spend sometime in Kuranda. Would reccommend up by train, and at least two hours in Kuranda and then down on skyrail.
