Unfortunately I was unable to see any big animals as few elephants were on rampage and the forest rangers were firing guns to chase them. Still nothing can beat the experience of moving through the jungle in an open gypsy. This experience cannot be put into words you can only feel it. My suggestion for this 2 n half hour... More

Awesome and Adventurous! Full of culture. Wish I could have spent more than two days here. Park rangers are friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent but jeep safari was costly. Elephant safari at Medla, have to stay overnight there. Seldom view of animals like elephant, deer, bison, birds. Jungle was dense.

Gorumara National Park is famous for elephants, rhinos and bisons. It is said that there are very bright chances of sighting these animals during jeep safari or watch tower visit. However, things did not turn out so well in our case. We did one jeep safari and two watch tower visits (Jatraprasad and Medhla). In all these three visits, we... More

Chance of Sighting of animals is not high. Jeep safari means transfer to watchtowers and back. This concept is really terrible here. Knowledge and interest of guides to show you anything are also not encouraging at all. Overall an average experience.

The safari starts from early morning, last being at 3 on the afternoon. Its a 1.5 hrs trip inside the forest. They take u to 2 points or watch towers from where... More

Traveling inside Gorumara National Park is itself very thrilling and adventurous. We had a jeep safari as well as an Elephant ride. We went beyond the prescribed route and that was an experience of a lifetime. A ride through the deep dense forest where sunlight doesn't reach even in daytime was simply wonderful.
