Nice place to take a boat trip
Jan 2018
This island is nice place to visit by boat, especially when you have children, cause deer who live there and eat coconuts are very adorable. And you can take the island tour with tractor where you can see a lot of deer and one special palm tree at the beach where you can take memorable picture.

amazing day on koh kradat
Aug 2017 • Couples
My girlfriend and I rented a mini speedboat with a captain from BB divers on koh Mak for a half day trip to koh kradat for a mini safari. We had a fantastic day with beautiful nature and friendly deer. we found the island was a lovely place to spend a day of our holidays with a nice beach and beautiful clear waters for snorkeling. We recommend this trip for couples or families as children would love it and the organisation with BB divers was easy and affordable. thanks for a great day!!!

Head there for a little half day or full day trip with a private speedboat. It's nice and quiet and you can relax on the nice beach.

Beautiful nature and beach
Nov 2015 • Family
Koh Kradat is a small island to the north-east of Koh Mak and not a museum as the title says. And it is not the same as Koh Kood at all

The island is privately owned and there is a small entry fee, 100 baht or so. And they have deer on the island! I have no idea how they got there but there really is quite a lot of deer on the island, they are quite tame too and will eat from your hand too

The nature is lovely and untouched, the beach along the east side of the island is very nice indeed. This is a place to relax and enjoy nature and feel the harmony.

There is one not so good resort on the island, the restaurant is cheap with good food. I can't remember exactly but the boat here was something like 150 baht per person

Charming white beach and peaceful!!
Nov 2014 • Family
Koh Kut or Koh Kood is the 4th biggest island in Thailand. Its natural features include mountains, forest, canal, waterfalls and charming white beach. You can enjoy hiking, swimming at the waterfall, snorkeling, kayaking or other beach activities. As well as nightly cruise to see fireflies.

During Oct-Nov. is the best for visiting, clear sky, white beach, clear water like a mirror.... so impressive!!!

Koh Kut is the farthest island from the coast of Trad. You can go to Trad by plane, by bus, by limousine or car to Lam Sok pier and take a boat to Koh Kut. It takes about 1hr. by speed boat.

Accommodations are available for visitors, resort villas or home stay type.
By the way, it's not a museum as mentioned in the topic. :)

how to getting there from bangkok
Dec 2013 • Family
The easily journey and comfortable start from Bangkok at Phayathai Airport Rail Link station and they have two time departs by bus direct to Trat province at Laem Sok Pier connecting to Koh Kood and Koh Mak by catamaran boat so in a day time you can go to your destination as well as returning back yo Bangkok.

Absolutely annoying
We paid 1200 baths to take a cab from our resort to Lao sen, then a boat for the 300m to join the island where a Thai is waiting for you to show you the island in the trailer of a tractor! The path around the island is always the same, a tour of 1km. The noise and the smell of the tractor is horrible and fear all the deers you meet.
At the the opposite side if the island you stop for a bath on a beach which has been cleaned on only 100m, if you move from there you're in the rubbishes.
Then go back to your boat.
No explanations at all about the island, the trees, the deers... Nobody speaks English
A real shame, the only positive thing, it's only one hour go and back!
