    Leader Marine Tours
Fabulous day trip that includes, caving, canoeing and lovely beaches. Oh and lots of wild monkeys! I went on a similar trip before but decided to go again as my friends hadn’t been before. We went on this trip with Leader Marine, I have to say it was first class! Linda was our point of contact and kept us informed she also personally delivered our tickets and itinerary to our hotel. The trip was well organised with excellent transport facilities to and from our hotel. The boat was in superb condition and the on board staff were brilliant!! Lunch was served in a restaurant on one the islands we visited. It was extensive and delicious. The trip woke out at about £80 per head but is well worth it, be wary of cheaper deals as they do not have the same organisation and, or quality. Highly recommend and would now use ‘Leader Marine’ for other tours.

Good tour but wouldn’t go again!
We were a group of 11 and we did the James Bond tour with Ocean Sky Tours which we booked through My Phuket Holiday. The tour was a small tour (only 35 people) however the boat was full and quite crowded. We visited 6 islands but only swimming available at 2. Pros: Our tour guide Monica and his team were friendly and informative. The buffet lunch at New Fern Restaurant was really good - lots of variety. The weather was fantastic so it was great for swimming. We were constantly provided with water and snacks (biscuits and fruit) on the boat all day. Cons: The “speedboat” we were on broke down several times and got stuck in the mud when leaving one of the islands which meant we ran behind time most of the day. We arrived at Hong Island at low tide so we were not able to canoe through the caves and instead just went around them - this was disappointing because it was one of the main reasons we booked this tour! It was a really long day - leaving our hotel at 7.45am (boat didn’t leave until 9.30am) and getting back at 6.45pm.

On the list of places to see in Thailand but the trip itself let's the experience down.
Like everyone else, I'm sure this is on the list to see when visiting, again a totally different experience this time for me between the years. I had great memories only to have them somewhat dampened with the rushing to islands 30 mins here, 40 minutes there etc etc. Our trip again started with a minibus journey, picked up at 8am at our hotel arrived at approx 9am and waited yet again for our boat to leave. There were 16 on board, actually a nice amount so the boat wasn't full and we had plenty of room to move about. We had a lady guide who was lovely, helpful and always looked out for the group. Our trip was with (Phuket sunny infinity tours) This trip could have been worse had they packed out the boat but it turned out OK with the numbers. Now we started off with exploring the cave at Ice cream cave, there were already boats there, it was so busy inside that took about 30 minutes to walk through and see the view at the end and take photos and get back on the boat to the next place Hong Island, canoeing for approx 15 to 20 minutes took lots of photos and videos then off to James bond Island, for approx 50 minutes and after that was Muslim village for Lunch. Now My experience was that lunch was again awful, canteen style food we brought some mango from a lady selling it and it tasted weird and soapy, absolutely awful. Stay away from this lady selling mango and fruit. We left it all. I'm hoping it went in the bin and not reused and sold off again but hey who knows! Next the canoeing was ok but again extremely busy, it like a production line on, off, next please. Now on to James bond Island, so busy with boats arriving all the time, stalls selling things, obviously took photo, we were not there long. Hoards of tourists arriving and leaving. I mean it was ok but It all felt a little rushed. I don't think I will need to go back as I've done this before and what a difference with each time over the years. I came away from this trip glad my children got to see it but disappointed they didn't get to see it like I had done years ago when it was unspoilt and a wonderful experience. I dread to think the volume of people in high season on these day trips. Again so sad to see what's happened here with these trips. They used to be so different. This trip we did get a bag of 2 biscuits and a few savoury snacks. I do remember years ago getting bottles of soft drinks , coke, fanta, lemonade and friut and snacks on board now you're lucky to get a bottle of water on some of these trips. How things change! I must not forget to say, some of the views were wonderful, just a shame everything now is too commercialised.

Enjoyable, but if you have social anxiety I wouldn't recommend peak season!
Booked through Rung Siam Andaman. Did the package of James Bond island, canoeing around the natural rock tunnels, floating village for lunch, monkey cave. Didn't make the waterfalls due to thunderstorms. Big group and one guide. She was fantastic, a true pleasure to have her look after everyone. Their drivers were great too. 8hrs all up and transfers to long boat and vans easy. Peak season, so every where so many ppl made it less appealing. Loads of other tour groups all out at the same time. Felt like we were hearded from one spot to another. Worth going, just don't expect peaceful moments to take a pic or take in the sites. Food at the floating village very nice. The tour group kept us fed, watered, juices and snacks. Markets on all stops so if you want buy stuff it's their for a price.

Lots of people but worth the visit.
Not to be missed. Yes a lot of people trying to take pictures etc but its still worth it. Fishing village is a so-so , make sure you bargain for the goods as the same items are 3x more than lets say Krabi. We saw a huge monitor lizzard under the floating village houses . We went with a cab and than hired a long tail but we got screwed by 500Baht by the person who was selling the long tail trip. She lied about the price with a poker face. Even though there was a sign for $2000 she poker faced and said some stuff was not included in that. Awr we found out you not supposed to pay more than 1800-2000 for the boat.

Beautiful scenery of James Bond Island
This is a Beautiful sightseeing in Phang nga Bay. The James Bond island is famous here and it reminds you of the movie “The Man with a Golden Gun” if you’re a fan of James Bond movie it’s exciting to see the movie setting 😍 so worth a tour but it was crowded when we got there with boats and vendors, the tour also included stopping at Floating village for lunch and Kayak on a cave; we skipped kayak due to time constraints and we wanted to spend more time in James Bond island which was our next and last stop. Tips: We stayed in Krabi to get to Phang nga and once at the pier we checked for private long tail boat to hire, depending on your negotiation it should be from 2k to 3k bhat. We were there around noon so we didn’t get to negotiate long tail boat but talked to 1 lady hustling us for the boat , if we have time we would have walked around first, I heard if u go to their tourist info office u can get better pricing for long tail boat day tour. Our private taxi driver hired from hotel was really nice and waited for us and on our way back he even stopped and showed us monkey park which was fun to see monkeys all over the park, overall we had a good time and treasured memories to remember our adventure in Phang nga.

    An amazing escape!
This is an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city! The island is famous for the James Bond movie that was filmed here but it’s gives you more of an amazing natural escape. The water is not fit for swimming and the island itself is also in a National park but the views are amazing. The caves and the lagoons around the island are an amazing treat!

Great Day trip by speedboat with Discova
We booked an excursion with Discova , had a great guide for the speedboat trip from Phuket which included a transfer from our hotel. Guide was Wawa who was informative friendly and helpful. The excursion was great value with only about 16 people , stopped off for sea canoes and a couple of other islands with a quick photo stop at James Bond island , lunch at floating village. Speaking to other people at our resort this seemed to be one of the better excursions and always felt safe. No snorkelling on this day long adventure

We booked this trip with South Sea Tour Co at exceedingly short notice through PCX tour and travel in Patong. Porn, the owner of PCX was a delight in getting it - which we could not pre-book because of uncertainties about Norwegian Jade's berthing and tendering arrangements.
The tour was comfortable and well informed throughout by our guide, who was knowledgeable and amusing. We stopped en route at the Suwankuha (Monkey) Temple, which proved very interesting, though there are some challenging steps and inclines to the top of the interior of the cave.
The trip around Phang Bay was a highlight. We went sea kayaking through sea caves with a seasoned oarsman, who was very pleased to see us. The James Bond location was stunning, despite the fact that there were quite a lot of tourists there, and we had plenty of time to explore/swim. The lunch at Koh Panyee fishing village was fresh and wholesome, to the degree that we left little time to explore there. Of course, being in a powerful longtail boat added to the trip, with the occasional welcome(?) shower as we cut through the water! All in all this was a full and eventful trip and great value for money compared to the cruise excursion.

The islands themselves are absolutely worth seeing and visiting. However, be careful who you book with. Our guide was on a VERY loud mic the entire trip trying to sell anything and everything. His name was Rajid with UNC. Do not go with him. He forces tips and harassed you to buy beers, ice cream, and whatever else he can hawk on the boat. It really ruins the experience. It feels like he is a failed pop star looking for his 15 minutes of fame. I would still recommend touring the area as it is really beautiful.

Having watched The Man With The Golden Gun quite a few times, I went to see James Bond Island and it was good. You got impressive views when you go up some stairs - these stairs leads you to the beach on the other side with nice views plus some caves as well. Unfortunately there are too many tourists with little space between them and a few market stalls as well. Other than that, it is impressive. Maximum stay here is 30-40 minutes

Signed up with one of Phuket's local tour companies offering relatively small boat rides to the National Park area. Recommend a fast boat that handles around 20 - 25 people as it feels comfortable and all have a view. It was as advertised in the borchure... beautiful. Recommend all have to see this area.

Visited as part of an organised boat tour.
You can't come to this part of the world and not see this site. Amazed at the number of influencers hauling gear on to the island to try and get the perfect (artificially staged!) shot. We were greeted by persistent market sellers selling typical tourist junk at highly elevated prices. that you can buy on the mainland at a much cheaper price. Don't go there to shop, spend some time exploring the caves and look out points. There is really no chance to swim at this island. Be prepared to jump down from the front of the boat into the water at the shore as boats cant come in too close.

Well this has to be the highlight of our trip, something we had looked forward to ever since we started our travel arrangements. But do go on a Long Tail boat & not the speedboats....Yes it damp, wet and the boat engine is laud but it gives you the thrill you wanted. The boats go where others cannot due to the low draft. This is another world to see..from rock formation, trees & vegetation let alone the Island. Stunning 7 would go back tomorrow given the chance.

We booked our trip with Andaman travel in our Sensimar Hotel, much to the disgust of the TUI tour rep who said we should have used him. Tour guide was excellent for the day and couldn’t help enough. The island was fantastic, as was the boat ride out. Seeing the caves by kayak for an hour wasn’t to my taste, but the floating village was well worth the trip. This is where we stopped for our lunch (included in the price). Lovely food but watch out for the locals trying to sell you their tat. The day trip finished with a trip to Buddha in a cave. A good day out and well worth the money.

Visited with our kids aged 6 and 8 during Oct/Nov 21. Got there via long tail boat from the National park as part of a day trip which also included a guided canoe trip around the mangroves and lagoons of the surrounding islands organised by William tours in Khao Lak. The boat trip didn’t take too long to reach, under an hour with plenty to see during the journey including sea eagles, forests, huge town built on stilts in the Andaman sea where we ate at a restaurant, really unusual rock formations with stalagmites and Stalactites everywhere. At the island itself there is a small beach and bay where you can swim if you like up to rock that is part of James Bond island. Lots of photo opportunities there. There are small market stands where you can buy souvenirs and there are toilets although they were not ideal for family with small kids so bring supplies with you.
