In July, my wife, daughter and I took Phuket Sail Tours' speedboat day-trip to Phang Nga bay. It was an amazing trip -- the highlight of our whole vacation. The distance from the Marina to the sights in Phang Nga bay is short -- only about 30 minutes. There are multiple stops, so there is also some traveling from stop... More

Went on the June Bahtra junk cruise and thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing tour. Staff were attentive and friendly. The scenery is just magical and unique. James Bond Island, although glad to have ticked it off the bucket list was a huge tourist trap with extremely pushy stall sellers which was annoying. The sea gypsy village was interesting and would have... More

We went by big boat and took the canoe including package. It was a good decision to take the big boat instead of speed boat as it started raining heavily and speed boat or long tail boat would have been a risky proposition. If you are visiting Phuket - this is a must visit attraction Canoeing was the best part

Such a beautiful bay. Bought a 100 baht plastic cover for my phone. So glad I did as it was protected from the rain, the waves and accidents. Such a beautiful place. We saw 3000 year old rock carvings. The islands pop up everywhere and the mangroves protected the area from the tsunami. So beautiful. Didn't really care for the... More

While busy, this was the only good part about our "James Bond Island Day Tour". the formations among the cliffs/limestone formations/etc were very cool to see. you're not really allowed to kayak on your own though, but i think this is because the sea can get a bit rough.
