Magnificent waterfall , our guide allowed us let us enjoy the looks for a long time. The guide also informed us all about the nature and the people that reside in the area. Food was also tasty which made the whole trip very memorable

Worth a walk down a long staircase for a small fee to a large waterfall, guided by local school children, who are raising money for their school.

The falls are really superb BUT the environment need to be cleaned: plastic bottles, trash everywhere ... such a pity !

Beautiful Falls in Lushoto. You have to hike for a while in the Mountains to see them but it's Worth it.

The Soni Watefalls are worth a visit, be prepared to wade in the cold water and do a bit of climbing!

A beautiful waterfall that I wish our guides would have made time for us to look at. Unfortunately, there was quite a crowd and we were in a hurry to get to our hotel. Our glimpse, though brief was memorable.

We visited there with family, It is just at the begininng of Lushoto. It has a small entry fee and we have to go through a school's building where some guide may be available. The school building has some washrooms, but are not clean at all.
Going from school to falls is a rough road from the rocks whish can be risky also, so, take care while walking. Avoid going in rains, as it may be much slippery and can cause one to fall.
After reaching the falls i.e. not a long distance from school, you can enjoy in that, but if you want to go from one side to another, be careful as the stones in it, through which you have to go, are quite slippery.

Hey there,
has somebody a contact for a guide to the Soni Falls? Thank you
Written July 25, 2018
You don’t need a guide — it’s a paved path down to the falls that takes about 10 minutes to walk. When you pay your entrance fee, a guide (local student) will walk you down to the falls. Anyone in town can direct you to the entrance gate.

Can you hike here from Irente Farm Lodge? Thanks!
