Amazing buildings with Chinese culture.
love to take a lot of photos here. Beautiful everywhere.
Get to know the Chinese traditional buildings and history in person, I was so happy.
It really worth visiting here.
非常推薦這個景點 可以看到傳統閩式建築 保存非常完整 美麗
感覺像走入歷史 隨處拍都超美 非常推薦跟家人朋友來 也可以帶小朋友來認識文化

The village of 18 houses were built by a successful businessman, Mr. Wang. It’s kind of Chinese tradition that successful people like to feedback to his/her community. The most popular way is to build a school or something to memorize in his/her hometown. All of them are 18 houses including a school and a family temple. The architecture is well kept but too much business are on the premise to negatively impact the outlook and appearance. A nice spot to visit.

Shanhou Folk Culture Village has about twenty or so Fujianese houses on display. Unlike the Shuitou Village which is an actual living village, Shanhou had bit of a theme park vibe with the souvenir vendors crowding near the entrance. However, it was nice to be able to enter most of the houses. The houses are very close together here so it only takes one tour bus full of visitors to make it feel crowded but it’s still a great place for photos and architecture enthusiasts.
