If you are interested in the history of the Republic of China and the Kinmen islands during the Chinese Civil War. This is one of the place that you MUST visit.

This site was build by soldiers over looking Xiamen. A place with guides telling tourist about the history of this building. It has a beautiful scenary from the top. Do visit at night for a much beautiful photo.

not so special but it is important place in kinmen. traditional building and getting some show room to display some kinmen stuff. umm...if need to say, that would be telephone stand, it is quite cutie.

JuGuang Tower (Ju-Guang mean the Glory of City named Ju) was designed and constructed as a three story traditional Chinese palace/tower in 1952. A beautiful building with a nice park like setting.Worth at least a 30 minute visit,fairly easy to get too from the main town, easy destination to bicycle too.

This is near to Jincheng City, about 5 mins motor ride. it is just beside the big lake. There is about 3 stories of pictures on the history and also the culture of the place. If you are staying there for the night, there is some laser works display which is scheduled hourly, but it is not too impressive and... More

According to our local guide, the building was built by the army to commemorate the war between Taiwan and China. Definitely worth visiting and walking to 2nd floor to see the view of Kinmen, little Kinmen and Xiamen China. The artifacts in the museum is not that impressive, we just quickly walked past to get to see the view. Like all Kinmen attractions, it's free.

Hear the narration to know how important this building was in the war against communist China!! Go up the second floor and look far to see where Xiamen is!! Very interesting!!
