Located in a quaint village of Rachol. This seminary is simply majestic. Surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere and the River nearby. It dates back to the portuguese era. Art lovers will surely love this place

This is one of the oldest if not the oldest church in Goa. The church is still home to a missionary school where boys come to become priests. The church is part of an old fort which people who bust still miss to see.

I have never experienced the sort of pin drop silence which i experienced at this place. It is a very cool and interesting place located in a very peaceful & calm area. The old Portuguese architecture of the building is just awesome.

The Seminary is located on a small hillock Rachol, village Raia, about 7 km from Margao. It is surrounded by the remains of a moat of a Muslim fort, green rice fields and lush foliage. The complex built by Jesuits way back during 1606 – 1610, consisted of a hospital, a school for the poor, and a college for trainee... More
