amidst 360 degrees of silence and serene hilly environment, a perfect spot to see sun coming down. You need to walk upto the specially dedicated sunset point. There's also a small souvenir shop run by the indian army.

it is a good place to visit but requires a lot of walking approximately 3-4 kms. from the famous Dhyanchand Memorial,Kasauli. It has a souvenir shop run by the Indian Army and is very economical. The only trouble you face at this point is the dirty toilets (which one needs to use after a long walk). Overall a good place... More

The roads are quite stiff but worth going there. Parking maintained by Army... Beautiful please visit. But be careful. Lots of flowers.

After heavy evening snack at the pebble street we drove till the sunset point. Beyond a particular point the cars are not allowed as the containment area is there and you can only walk down to it between 4 - 6 Pm. Even though a lot of people have mentioned about spectacular view of sunset, we found the Gilbert trail much more appealing. If you visit this place, you will find a lot of roads going downhill, but almost all of them are on private properties where you will find "Beware of dogs" and " No Trespassing" signs. Previously, one of my colleague told me that there is nothing special about that place. But after seeing the beauty of sunset, I must say that I would have been missed a lot. You can park your 4-wheeler near Army Check-Post, situated a kilometer (or max. two) away from the point. & Be patient, as the sunset occurs not before... More

The sunset point is a good 2kms trek from main town, but a pleasant nature walk. Although, we went on a cloudy day, so that wasn't looking much like a sunset point as entire area was covered with clouds.
