毫无疑问这里是济源的头号名胜，但遗憾的是目前正殿正在维修之中。在庙后面的水域号称济水之源——不过其实真正有价值的是龙亭前面的那一小段宋代石栏杆。在济渎庙的西路是一组道观建筑，现在仍有道人活动。济水独流孤江入海，与黄河淮海长江并称四渎，不过现在这条河流已经消失了——河道被黄河占了。
