Longquan Sword Museum
Jun 2016 • Friends
This is the "old" museum, or more accurately, the first museum to be built in Longquan. In the past it was both Celedon and Swords, however after the completion of the "New" Celedon Museum this one has now been totally devoted to swords.
To get there, you start to head up the road to get to the park on top of the hill and it's through a large metal gate on your right, when you get to the first sharp left on the main road. There is no fee to go in.
It has the history of swords in Longquan, how to make swords (past and present), and a selection of ancient and recently made swords from local swordsmiths. It was enjoyable, but no dogs allowed. The Bao had to stay outside.
