It's 3 hours on the G train from Hongqiao to Yangdanshan Station. We stayed 2 nights and did all 5 major scenic areas plus an additional walk. The scenery is stunning with waterfalls and gorges and amazing rock formations. Nothing is very expensive although there...More

Visited during the October holidays which means there were lots of tourists but except us, all Chinese tourists. I would recommend staying in the area for 2 nights and getting up early in the morning to avoid the most crowded times of the day. There...More

I was told that the mountains here are "normal" rather than spectacular. This is an accurate description, but they are quite lovely. The Linfeng area has a number of huge caves with temples built into them that are interesting. Lovely views as you walk between...More

Yandang mountains are spectacular and well worth a visit. No foreigners, only Chinese people. Great walking under overhanging cliffs and a scary hanging bridge.
