中国の伝統文化の一角が鑑賞できる美術館である。なぜなら、古代王朝から黒檀、紫檀などの濃色木材を好んで龍、鳳凰を権力の象徴を彫刻して飾ってきたため、民間にはそれらを真似した高級美術品の収蔵の価値がますます高くなり、原材料のみでさえ金並の値段がつけられた銘木なので、それらの彫刻品はなおさら手の届かない価格がつけられている。
