2017年7月30日从哈尔滨自驾400公里来到五大连池，到时已是下午了，去老黑山来不及了，放在明天吧！不想浪费下午的时间，决定去北饮泉看看。漫步在木栈道上，看着旁边火山岩遗址，顿感大自然的伟大，湖边的人们朝圣般的拿着大桶小桶打水，更为这里添加了神秘色彩，总之。值得一看。

五大连池的泉水天然含二氧化碳，而且冰凉透骨。北泉的泉水好像比南泉差点，南泉票价贵一些。北泉除了饮水区还有个湖，和小片湿地，可以小憩。

這裡的泉水嘗起來有點咬舌和帶點血味，適合比較大膽的人來嘗試，不過這裡的泉水容易變質，所以需要在半個小時以內喝完，一旦出現黃色沉澱，就不可再飲用了，所以又被稱為帶不走的泉水。

北药泉在药泉镇西300米，门票30元，景区不大半小时左右可以游完。这里最大的亮点就是含有多种微量元素的水，据说可以治疗胃病，不过确实神奇。
