渤海上京遺址博物館は牡丹江市内中心部から車で70分程度で到着します。また興隆寺や上京龍泉府遺址からは車で10分以内の距離です。入場料は50元。平日の昼間に行ったせいか入場者はまばら、券売所では「おつりがない、入場券がない」と言われる始末。それでも「渤海が中国を構成する少数民族によって建国された地方政権」とする前提のもと、中原の政権との関係を主としながらも展示の後半には周辺国との繋がりもしっかり説明がなされており、立地場所を考えると充実した博物館でした。牡丹江の市内から少し離れてはいますが、中世の社会・政治状況に関心があるのであれば、興隆寺や上京龍泉府遺址と併せての訪問をお薦めします。

幾等か補修されていますが、殆どが当時のままです。
渤海国や歴史に興味の無い方には、広いだけの遺址かと思います。
一番奥の休憩所？は、地元農民の休憩場所になっています。
無料で入れる通路が何箇所かあります。
トイレは、入口左先の渤海上京遺址博物館の隣にあります。
本『宁安渤海国遗址』と『上京龙泉府遗址』は、名称異なりますが同一です。
渤海国や歴史に興味の無い方には、広いだけの遺址かと思います。
