Mishan Port connects China and Russia in China's very east. People seldom come here particularly for visiting, unless you go to the other side or you travel to Xingkai Lake (Khanka Lake in Russian). The Lake is a nice place for a family retreat, and when you are already here for the lake, then just drive several kilometer more to reach Mishan Port which is just nearby Lake area. The port is under reconstruction in Oct 2013 on China's side. Not many people crossing the border, generally a very quiet port. A single shop located by the port selling some souvenirs. I tried to find a border monument or stone sign but I couldn't. I only find one engraved "border patrol route" in Chinese. Anyway, interesting visit for just several minutes, then I went back to Lake area.
