We visited this castle in a July afternoon and and art exhibition had place that time. In the castle just a few rooms were open to the tourists. The court yard has traces from it's glamorous past: decorated balconies, stone bench.

The courtyard of the castle is simply stunning, I have also visited this area at different times of the year and the way the sunlight shines through the trees is simply mesmerising. Carovigno is a wonderful town and definitely worth visiting!!
