This place offers the rarest combination of elements: the sand, made of tiny quartz pearls dotted by multicolor rocks of the same size, so precious that it is unlawful to take them home. Sunset from the beach is wonderful. Expect the dune areas behind the beach line to be very dry, if not dusty, in Summer, but this gives a... More

A beautiful and large beach usually full in the summer. to arrive to the beach is not difficult and there are enough parking space.

It's a great location that has a tendency to get very busy, if you want to avoid the crowds then head in later in the afternoon as people start vacating. My advice is check which way the win is blowing and avoid this beach if the wind is strong coming in...

We drove an hour to get to this beach and it was worth it! Cool quartz sand and crystal clear blue waters. There is a restaurant by the beach - only one so bit expensive! Tall rocks on the edge for some 'cliff jumping'

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, but it is slowly losing it's beautiful quarz sand because of people stealing it. It is so rude and disrespectful. Don't ruin what nature has to offer.

A lovely beach with quite a unique sand/stone. It is beautiful but I not the easiest to walk on. The sea has quite a lot of big breaking waves so it is not really a swimming beach. There are a couple of places on the beach front to get some food or an ice-cream and parking was nice and easy.

This beach is definitely more of a hidden gem. Don't expect pre-paid sunbeds with umbrellas. If you want any of that, you'll have to bring your own. That said, it's well worth the trip. Sea is a bit rougher and colder than some of the other places we visited but still swimmable and extremely clean. This beach is one of... More

We were very excited to visit this unique beach and it didn't disappoint. The sea on the day was tough for swimming, but for us it was all about the Quartz. Never have we been able to lie down directly on the beach feeling cool and comfortable, whilst not being voted in sand. The tiny crystals of quartz are just... More

Great beach, azure blue waters. No natural shadow available. When I was in May 2016, the beach was nearly completely empty - only ~5 people dotted across the whole beach. Loved it. Not sure what parking charges the other reviewers write about - in my case there was no one collecting (or any sign to that effect), but this might... More
