Jeonju dreamland inside the zoo is a must-visit place for BTS fans. BTS 2019 summer package was filmed here. We can enjoy thrill rides like Giant wheel, pendulum ride, merry-go-around, etc.

I visited here because it was said to be a BTS filming location. Nice place, large variety of animals and few rides. Overall, I enjoyed the place, it was really cheap and had lot of fun things to do. The location is great too, close to the town. I was really hoping to see lions, tigers and wolves but due to time limit I had I couldn't see them.

was struggling to find a find to let my toddler run around in Jeonju (which is a very concrete city - couldn't really find any public playgrounds). We didnt visit the zoo but there is an amusement park (dreamland) in the zoo premises that was perfect a little kids

These animals are clearly being horribly mistreated, my son was near tears, as was I. We looked at only 3 exhibits before we left, by far the worst zoo experience of my life.

Horrific experience. The animals looked depressed and severely neglected. The animal cages were filthy, small and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. We saw an ostrich with an infected eye (it was sealed shut), antelopes with their horns broken off, a small orangutan that was so weak it couldn’t even move around properly. It ended up just collapsing on the floor unable to get up. Another orang utan we saw was so cold it had to wrap itself with a blanket and could barely move. The entire time we were there, there wasn’t a zoo keeper in sight. This zoo should NOT be allowed to operate.

Yes, the zoo was a little disappointing and seeing the animals in there actually made me a little depressed. The positive part was that there was a large grassland where we have a picnic and enjoy the sunshine ... However, there is a large park near the zoo where you can do that for free.

All you'll see are big animals in small cages, looking miserable. Some might call it cruelty to animals. We were pretty horrified as kids stood around screaming and laughing at the poor creatures unable to move more than 5 steps in either direction. Zoos in Korea, in general are terrible.

well since i went there early in the morning with my boyfriend (and we were their first visitors on that day), i don't really know the real condition. what i feel was it's a nice place but they were doing some renovation (?) so it's a bit noisy.
maybe because at that time we were the only visitors, the zoo feels like a dead city.
anw i fall in love with the desert fox😍
