A suggestion for people in long trousers - bring something alone like a bicycle clip or tuck them into your socks. We had a partly rainy day for our trip. There were four of us, two reasonably fit and two not so fit. The trip...More

2 adults with 7 & 9 year old had an amazing time. In terms of logistics they can hook two pedal carts together - enabling the adults to do most of the work. We had a great time, well worth the effort, the tunnels were...More

Thanks for riding with us and lovely to hear you enjoyed the RailBikes. The tunnels really are fun and it doesn't matter how many times we go through them they are still fun! We appreciate your review.

The 5 tunnel train line ride on the motorised buggies was a great experience to get closer to the country and see things from a different perspective. It was the perfect length of time (around 3 hrs) to enjoy the spectacular countryside and cows sheep...More

This was a laid back adventure. No frills but a lot of fun. The scenery was beautiful and the tunnels were magic. We loved the home made biscuits for afternoon tea.

Rotorua is the closest and it's about 2 and half hours through to Taumarunui. It is a winding road but a lovely trip so good to allow plenty of time. We do hope you choose to come through.
