LOVED this little stop we made before heading to Queenstown. Was totally worth it! Want to go back and do it with my kids some day. ❤️

we had booked in tarata fishway for 2n3 days and on the way we were planning to try gravity canyon activity but did not find any one for 2 days it is very far and not worth taking so much of efforts rather ajhacket would be a better choice unless you have booked in taihape

It's superman without out the cape. It's the most amazing feeling flying down the river at speed. The closest thing to flying without an engine and wings. I did this with my girl friend, and honestly we were both very apprehensive. When you get to the top and look down a shear cliff face to the river below, the heart... More

Short well sign posted 15 min drive from the main highway approaching Taihape. A lovely clean, well maintained business with options for bungy jumping, canyon swing and flying fox. The cafe could look at having some home baking to accompany the coffee, but the cold drinks and toasted sandwiches hit the spot. The staff are great and very friendly and the viewing... More

Our adult kids loved this canyon ride. Thrill seekers will love it! Well run and explained to us. Fantastic walk to the top of the ride.

This is a great place to bung, take the giant swing or the long and fast zip-line. Beautiful location, amazing scenery and good facilities.

Wow , what an experience ! This is one place you must visit if you are visiting North Island. My wife and I (60 and 58 years young) experience The Flying Fox and what an experience it was. The staff were super , the venue amazing and the thrill unprintable. Definitely the place to go for the ultimate adrenalin rush.

Great experience on the Flying Fox! Good alternative to bungy or swing! There is a bit of a trek to get to the top of the fox but it is well worth it. The staff were so friendly and made the experience so much better.

Three of us had booked to go on the Flying Fox... we then noticed the 'September Special' online, which meant rocking up in onesies to get our experience half price. A fun promotion which made for even funnier photos. All facilitated for us by the friendly duty manager. Unfortunately we were unable to go on the Flying Fox due to... More

Had great fun here. Did the Flying Fox, frightened the life out of us but was really fun. Didn't attempt bungy or swing chair. As it was winter we couldn't do too much but was well worth a visit
