As a family with no prior sailing experienced we booked a skippered tour for a whole day. We can only recommend the experience. We toured between Lefkada, Meganisi and Scorpio. From a low breeze to a strong wind we had all variations. The boat was brand new and comfortable. It has a small cabin and allows to store clothes, camera etc.. The Dutch skipper - Jasper - was a nice guy who knew the area and left a good impression. We stopped by a nice hidden restaurant right on a beach in Meganisi for lunch and later had a good swim in the sea from the boat in a small bay. All in all it was worth the money.

We were fortunate enough to find this company via Tripadvisor before we went to Nidri and were encouraged by the positive reviews that it had already attracted. Having done some sailing but looking to build our experience we booked the two day course. We had Maurizio as our instructor and I really can't praise his enthusiasm, calm manner and teaching ability highly enough. The two days were packed with high value instruction but delivered in a way that made it feel very relaxed. The boats are perfect for those looking to build their skills and really are a joy to sail in. So a very definite 10/10 for Day Sail Adventures and a recommendation to anyone looking for instruction to see if they can book their lesson with Maurizio.

We had a day skippered charter on a beautiful warm day. Unfortunately the wind did not play ball. Only a mild breeze in the morning, lunch on Meganissi then had to motor back, stopping for a swim in a bay at Skorpios.
I have sailed dingies in the past but my other half is a bit nervous on the water so the calm day at least suited her.
What did make the day though was the excellent company of Mauricio our skipper. He just left me to it apart from docking and talked about what felt like every subject under the sun. Really pleasant company for the day.
The people in the shop are very welcoming, price I though was reasonable for the day and the yachts in good condition and well presented. We would do it again.

By phone, we arranged a day trip. We did not live in Nydri, we have made thus 30 km journey by car there, and paid for all-day parking. At the appointed time no one appeared and no one responded on the phone. And so we drove 30 km back. It was a big disappointment, on the trip we enjoyed. The company had our phone to cancel a trip! Here are the positive references, but we indeed do not recommend !!!

Had a great day out with my other half in October and the weather did not let us down! Used to sailing on bigger boats this smaller 211 was a lot better to learn the basics and science of sailing! Plenty of room on board to picnic or lie down after stoping in one of the nearby harbors for a drink! Educational and still romantic, very reasonable price.great skipper, Will definitely go again beats the banana boat every time!

This experience was fantastic. Booked on line prior to holiday, excellent customer service. Was originally just treat for my enthusiastic but novice in sailing, partner, but I l(scaredy cat of water loved it just as much ) We booked 2 day skippered sailing 9-5 ish each day and Maurizio our Italian but multilingual guide was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and looked after us. Showed us how to prepare boat for leaving and entering harbours and gave us taster of elements of sailing, then let us do some of the work involved, steering, ropes, etc. we stopped each day at a different taverna for lunch(take enough money for meals) A relaxing but hands on course. We loved the time on the water, on this lovely new boat and has fuelled our enthusiasm to try sailing in England.

We booked this before we went to Greece, and it was the best decision. My husband sails, but I don't. Well, I didn't before this experience! (On the back of this I am now going to do an RYA course!) We had a fantastic day. The staff were great (maurizio was so helpful and informative) and can't be praised highly enough. It was great value. We had the boat from 9 til 6 - nine hours of fun and dare I say a little excitement too? When you work it out at an hourly rate it is really good value. I would do this again in a heartbeat, so if you are in Nidri, just do it!

Thank you Becky for a brilliant day out. Your friendlly instruction certainly made sailing far more fun than a self drive motor boat and so much more peaceful and relaxing. I hope to come back for the sailing course next year.

Walked along the Nidri bay and saw the sign at the waterfront, talked to Rob a few minutes and took a card with me.
Two friends from the appartment where we stayed also liked the idea so we went we the four of us. Started the day with a coffee with Becky our captain for the day, went on the lovely boat wich is also easy to sail for beginners.
Becky is a very lovely captain who loves sailing and is a great teacher! After 5 minutes the sails where up and there was a great wind!
Had a great lunch on a great spot what you normally by foot or scooter don't find easy.
This was really a wonderful day, what you do is up to you. You can really decide what you would like to do sail, swim, snorkel, eat, enjoy the sun etc.
Thanks again Rob and Becky for the best day of our holiday!
Tips:
*Take the trip the last day of your holiday, you totally forget you must leave the beatiful Lefkas the next morning. Otherwise you are only busy to pack your bags and thinking about the way back to home :(
*Bring a lot of water with you if you go in high summer.

It could not have been easier, at the tender age of 71, never sailed before. The wife took to it like a duck to water. With the expert tuition of Rob and absolutely ideal conditions we spent a good 3 hours under sail. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of giving it a go.
Thanks again to Rob and Becky, so helpful and always with a smile
