Lovely views, quiet and peaceful. Great to see what birds are on the water, curlews are frequently seen. Good walking shoes are a must and in winter be sure to wrap up warm.

We visited Kippford on a wet and rainy day. Although it stopped us from exploring the harbour, we enjoyed having a bite to eat overlooking the water and enjoying our time there.

We walked here from Rockcliffe which I recommend - it’s an easy walk with great views and there’s parking available. The beach was lovely; not sandy but covered in creamy white sea shells.
