Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Krishna (an avatar of the god Vishnu), located in the town of Guruvayur, Thrissur, Kerala, India. It is one of the most important places of worship for Hindus of Kerala and is often referred to as "Bhuloka Vaikunta" which translates to the "Holy Abode of Vishnu on Earth".

Only problem is, all sign boards are in Malayalam only, for non malayalam reader, its difficult to understand different pooja's we can offer and prasada's we can get...

This temple is pristine and clean. The 54 elephants are a rarity at any given place. The men are allowed to wear panche/dhothi and top of the body should be covered by shawl or can be barebodied. The tradition is followed over many generations.
