The temple is quite good. One should plan early as the waiting time for darshan is around 2 to 3 hours. During festivals this may be more. As usual people are in a hurry and try to push through sometimes without any respect for fellow devotees. One should try to reach the temple early in the morning at 3 am... More

We can reach Guruvayur by road or train ,if you are from north part of Kerala,or Karnataka you can take train till Shoranur from there you can hire taxi or public transport as convenient, if you are going along with elderly and kids better to avoid the public transport. Though it's not my first visit, everytime I enter the temple, it feels like the first time. Its really difficult to leave the premises because of the peace of mind that one can find here. difficult to get darshan in general line.easy if you are a senior citizen. went thrice on 3 consecutive days. the line was unending. there are more than 3 lines. so it was a sad experience for me.

if you are a follower of Hindu religion you should must visit here once in a lifetime.Guruvayoorappan and his blessings stand beyond all.visit with clean mind and devotion please don't seek any shortcut for darshan.go the right way and feel the power yourself.
