We stayed for 2 nights in a Jungle Camp on the Kinabatangan river as part of a 3 days/ 2 nights tour with Borneo Adventure. It was a fantastic tour and we saw so many animals (proboscis monkeys, long-tail macaques, short-tail macaques, silvered leaf monkeys, crocodiles, hornbills, king fishers, wild boars, etc). A highly recommended tour.

Peaceful location and very friendly staff. We were there for 2 nights and had a boat trip on the afternoon we arrived and two the next day plus a jungle walk mid-morning on the second day and an additional night boat trip (which cost extra). We saw orang utan, a gibbon, lots of monkeys, a crocodile and 5 of the... More

Orang utans, probiscus monkeys, and more. Our river trips were fabulous. If only we had seen a pygmy elephant and crocodile, we would be even more thrilled!

Lots of monkeys and assorted wildlife. Be sure you use the in house guides they are fantastic. We didn't and didn't get to see some of the things others saw ( we had our own private guide).

Fabulous wildlife viewing by boat. I saw wild orang-utans, a herd of elephants, hornbills and saltie crocs.

Really good for either 2d1n or 3d2n. Great river cruise to see pygmy elephants and monkeys on the way, and a comfortable relaxing place to stay. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Highly recommended

My friend recommended this to me, I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise! All booking was done via email which was a little scary but totally not an issue! We happened to be the only people staying there for the three nights - this was a bonus as the staff were fully attentive and seemed to appreciate us being there.... More
