Jambil Hill is a tourist attraction in Pesaban Traditional Village, Desan Nongan, Rendang District.
Bukit Jambul has been known since the Dutch colonial era in Indonesia.
At that time Bukit Jambul with its beautiful scenery began to be of interest to visitors, especially tourists from the Netherlands.
The name Bukit Jambul itself was obtained from tourists who visited at that time. The name is taken from the towering mountains located on the southern part of the road between the Klungkung and Besakih regencies.
In the hills there is a temple called Pura Puncuk Sari, around the temple is overgrown with large and very dense trees.
Then in the area or under the temple complex there are residents' rice fields. So from this the name Jambul Hill was created, because the dense forested peak hill looks like Jambul

If you come back from Besakih temple maybe you might stop by in this place. Or when you're in Klungkung to visit Kertagosa then you can extend your trip to this spot. You can park your car and come down take a photos. The scene of terasering (Balinese rice fields) is spectacular with a beautiful background, a must visit....

There's no fee, but they charge you parking fee, and it's only Rp 2.000,-

Up above the Besakih temple there is Taman Edelweiss. They have al ot of beatifull fields with orange flowers and a lot of fields with the so called edelweiss. You are here on 1150 meters height, well abov the Besakih temple, can be a bit frwesh but also you have an astonishing view of Bali. Take a walk, have a drink and enjoy the scenery. When you are at the Bekasi temple parking place ask for the direction. A little bit back and then left, and go up.
