We visited the bridge on our buggy tour of the island. The first thing you notice about the bridge is that it is yellow. I believe it's yellowness is the reason for it's name...yellow bridge.
It is also very bridgey in its construction making it very useful in getting from one place to another without getting wet.
So, if you have some issues and someone says "build a bridge and get over it" you just have to go to yellow bridge and get over that.
Enjoy!
Cheers, Zac.

We arrived by fast boat from Palang Bai on Bali, transferred at a pontoon to a small motorised boat for a short trip, so we could reach Yellow Bridge. It's a narrow pedestrian and scooter only bridge giving access to Nusa Ceningan island. The reason for 4 stars is the fun I had as pillion passenger on the scooter heading to our small hotel at the far end of Nusa Ceningan. I am in my early 70's, and use a cane to help me walk, so it was quite a challenge, getting on and off the scooter with help! The Balinese people are so delightful, kind and helpful, and they are always smiling. They made our holiday, wherever we stayed.

Yes there is a yellow bridge it’s ok. But ride to the end of the road for a great place to watch the surfers surf. It’s called Mahanas point. Little cafe right on the break so you’re there where they catch the waves

A yellow suspension bridge hangs between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. The narrow bridge is one of the attractions of the islands. Moreover, the bridge is extremely practical and is the only connecting road between the two islands.
The bridge is not suitable for cars, but for pedestrians and two-wheelers. (scooters)
On the water you see small boats with goods. Strong men transfer the supplies onto small trucks for onward transport to Nusa Lembongan. This is a very busy one. Boats with people also pass under the bridge, because it is an important transport route between the islands. The area around the bridge is bustling with activities, including fishing boats, seaweed farms and locals commuting between the islands.

We are a couple that travelled on one scooter across the bridge from Lembongan. The bridge is very narrow and you don’t realise it until it’s too late. Really, there should be signs beforehand so you know what you’re getting in for. We are confident driving a scooter on roads but on such a narrow thorough way, you need a lot of skill if bikes come from the other direction. We saw riders waiting on each end for bikes from the opposing direction to pass. This is the best thing to do. However, when we passed, riders came from the other direction - they didn’t wait and this made my husband wobble and crash us into the sides of the bridge. We smashed up our knees and fell off our scooter. I was carried to the other side and my husband limped off. Local people helped us and rode our scooter. We were then stuck with injuries and no alternative but to go back to the hotel with ice packs, pain killers and compression bandages. This time we walked across and pushed our scooter. A very scary and painful experience. Travel across on your scooter only if you feel confident going through narrow spaces.

Such a lovely place etched in our memory. The famous Yellow Bridge which links Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan is a sight where you would see pedestrians as well as people with scooters so be careful when you stop to click pix.
There was a small eatery nearby and we thought of quenching our thirst. To our surprise we saw Pepsi Blue and immediately ordered one. Haven’t ever seen it in India or any other place I have travelled to. It was really nice. Also tried Fried Chicken which could easily give competition to KFC owing to the crunchiness and flavours.
This was a part of my Nusa Lembongan trip I had booked with Sunrise Fast Cruise Bali.

Absolutely loved the day trip I did to Ceningan that I crossed the yellow bridge from Lembongan. As we didn’t ride a scooter we walked across but it was a very short bridge and easy to walk. Exploring C is tougher as the main sights were v far across the island abt 30 min walk. We were offered a round trip exploration by Ardi with a truck. His truck can sit many but as we were only two of us it’s not a cheap hire. I think in a big group it works out more economically. But the blue lagoon Mahana point and secret beach point were all beautiful! We spent a lovely day at Suku Beach Club overseeing the beautiful waves and a bonus of many schools of dolphins frolicking when the waves were high. They put on an amazing show at Mahana Point.
Things to bring: your own beach towel and of course wear your swimmies!

yellow bridge connect both lembongan and ceningan island.it is the landmark for both islands.the bridge is narrow, only pedestrians and motorbikes can go through the bridge.i stayed in ceningan from 31 May to 2 June.one day i want to withdraw money in lembongan,i walked to the bridge, actually,i want to take some photos with the bridge.it is my second time visiting ceningan, the first time,i had no chance to do so.i decided to do so this time. and it is not too far from the villa i stayed to the bridge. but the weather is very hot,so sweaty! but i successfully took some pics with the bridge. if you want to do so. make sure you wont block the way. it is dangerous.i also walked down to the beach.though nothing special.it is the boarding point for public boat to nusa penida.next time i will stay close to the bridge, then i dont need to walk too much.

Very cool place to see especially at sunset. Two scooters can only just pass on this bridge so be carefull. Located in nusa lembongan (near nusa penida). One of the popular spot from local tourist. I enjoyed the walk, but nothing special that take some picture.

The only way to get to Nusa Ceningan. No cars, motor bike and pedal bike only. Also if you are looking to catch a ferry to Nusa Penida, the boat launch for those ferries are right below the bridge, with motorbike parking available. Be careful driving as pedestrians use this bridge as well.
