First up the positives: this trip really was very good and I've always wanted to see manta rays. We got to snorkel at 3 sites, the last stop was absolutely incredible with such vibrant coral. As chaotic as it sometimes felt they were very well organised. The buffet lunch was really tasty and there was plenty of choice. Our driver was very punctual, in fact he was early so we got going right away. A few negatives/recommendations for the company to improve on: the briefing on the boat was quite hard to hear at the back of the boat, I didn't really hear anything on how to swim with the mantas and from the way people were in the water I don't believe any of them took it in anyway. As amazing as it was, the poor manta rays were being chased and crowded, and then when they did approach some people they would start wailing and splashing about. Given it is a wildlife tour I think more emphasis should be put on ecology and learn more about the species and how to swim around them respectfully.

Third trip with LWS.
Last year due to the swell conditions we didn't get to see the manta ray, however still had a great experience. This year we got to see the manta ray.
The experience is only made all the better by the amazing staff Wayan, Harry & Putu.
Lunch is amazing, would recommend the island tour over kayaking in the mangroves
It was great to see the company also making improvements with a new island tour vehicle, new stage and acoustic guitar player at lunch, as well as new snorkels, masks & fins.
Anyone wanting to snorkel in Bali LWS is a must.

Amazing snorkelling experience. We were lucky enough to see turtles, manta rays and a whole underwater universe. Kayaking was fun but a little bit of guidance on how to do it would have been handy. Lots of good laughs though. Lunch was lovely and the video available to buy was very good. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great experience.

Our day was fun, we went to some great spots and it was very enjoyable. However, we weren't able to see manta rays and weren't given any reason. While this was disappointing, we were able to get over it.
What we didn't get over was the inhumanity that the guides showed. Not only were they picking up starfish and pulling them out of the ocean to show the tourists. Later, the guide spotted a sea turtle sleeping in a cove and poked it repeatedly to wake it up. When the turtle didn't move the guide pried it out of the cove so that everyone could see it and take pictures.
This is disrespectful to the sea life and it teaches tourists that these actions are okay, which they're not. This is harmful and potentially life-threatening to these animals and the guides should not set such horrible examples.

I would rate this operation 5 stars had it not been for the fact that they show no respect for the corals. A lot of tourists are not aware of the fact that touching a coral will destroy it and it takes ages to recover. The staff did not inform about this and didnt even bother to say something when people stept on corals.protecting the corals is the respobsibility of everybody but its really important that tour operators informs about this. Also they feed the fish with bread witch is really bad. Next time i expect a breifing of awareness, that reckless snorkelers are spoken to, and no feeding of fish. Then Ill give 5 stars to the snorkelling trip

We booked package E through the website the evening before going snorkeling. Good rates and explanation of what is included. The pick up was on time and the driver had good driving skills. When we arrived we received a drink and were told we had to wait for others who were coming from Sanur. It wasn’t very long so we had no problems with that. When we went on the boat we were told we were going to Manta Bay. This makes you anticipate on getting to see them. However after quite a boat ride we arrived and were told there were no mantas and we were given the choice to go snorkeling and seeing “nothing” or moving to a different site. Unanimously we chose for a different site. We moved to Crystal bay where many other boats were already waiting. The water was pretty choppy and the guide was continuously swimming up stream not allowing anyone to really have a decent look at the small amount of fish that were there. It seemed more like a endurance competition rather than snorkeling and enjoying the scenery. After a short time we were told that we would move to the next location and we went to Gamet Bay. I was quite shocked to see that the guides and captain started to feed the fish around the boat for the tourist to take pictures. Looking around this seemed to be common practice, as the same happened on the surrounding boats. At the next place we would do drift snorkeling. Here we finally could relax and enjoy all the fish and the coral around us. For some reason one of the guides decided to pick up a starfish and pass it around the tourists. This was one step too far if you ask me. I will never recommend this company to anyone and won’t be a return customer. Hopefully they will change some things in the future, so that others can enjoy the snorkeling trip.

Great day and stunning snorkel spots. Definitely worth it.
It was very well organized, and there were many choices for food during lunch time.
Kayak through the mangrove is superb fun and beautiful as well.
If I would have to say something to improve, it would just be to have a bit more of information when getting the fast boat from Bali to Nusa. There are many people going to different tours and not so much information there. Once you arrive in Nusa, it is all very well done and there is someone waiting and giving you clear instructions.

Everything ran smoothly from the hotel pick up to the drop off back at the hotel. Snorkeling was great and seeing Mantas so close was amazing! Shame about all the rubbish in the ocean but the tour can’t control that. Definitely recommend this tour!

Everything was great..guides were fantastic... snorkeling was best we'd had experienced in Asia....also did island tour with great photo spots..special shout out to "Young Coconut" so funny and personable...made it a wonderful experience!

An awesome day. Staff,transfers ,lunch and service was professional. Great tour guides who made sure everyone was always safe and gave us a memorable day. Crystal Bay and the wall was amazing , untouched and so many fish and coral was thriving. Blue and Orange Starfish, lobster, turtles. Swimming with the Mantra was an experience you will never forget. Best snorkeling we have ever had. Water was so clean and clear. End of the day with the mangrove kayak just topped it off.

Hi, I am planning to visit lembongen from Nusa dua for a snorkeling day trip. I have 2 children, one is 6 years old and another 1 year old. Is it advisable to opt for this tour with small kid?

I do not think that the trip is suitable for young children as the water tends to very rough to the snorkelling spots and to the island itself. Safety is not the priority for these types of trips. Knowing what I know now, I would not go again.
