Glo Spa has arrived on the shores of Nusa Lembongan in partnership with The Beach Club at Sandy Bay. The Beach Club at Sandy Bay has already established itself as the leading beach venue and dining outlet on the island and the addition of Glo Spa - the only ocean view spa on the island - was an easy choice. “We have had an overwhelmingly positive response to our Glo Spa at Sandy Bay since opening on the 1st August,” said Georgia Sutherland. “Our customers all seemed to lament the absence in Nusa Lembongan of a professional spa and salon that offered the complete package of expertly trained staff, deluxe private treatments rooms, internationally-renowned products, and a spa and salon whose philosophy is all about the guest! Glo at Sandy Bay will now fill this gap! Our philosophy quite simply is ‘What comes from the heart, touches the heart.’”Glo’s super-savvy technicians have completed two months of intense training on the island in the new treatments to meet Glo’s strict technique and hygiene & sanitation standards. A place where you find lovely people, quality service and welcoming atmosphere. I got a Balinese massage from a girl called Pitri, and everything was just excellent.
I couldn't have wished for a better treatment.
I highly recommend this place if you are in Lembongan.

Pitri & Leni were absolutely incredible!!! We came here for a 3 hour ultimate retreat as part of our honeymoon and can’t wait to go back. If you are in Nusa Lembongan and looking for a spa, this is the place to go!

I tried to make a booking by phone, but the number for the spa (given to me when I called the number on the website) wasn’t working. So I tried to make a booking by email instead. They replied suggesting a time for me and asked me to call yet another number to confirm my transport arrangements. They wouldn’t pick me up because I was just one person (fair enough), but told me that if I organized my own transport there, they would be responsible for my transport back.
When I went there, they had double-booked and priority was given to the other person because “she had made her booking by phone first”. Why they didn’t suggest a different time for me in the first place, I have no clue.
The therapist, Ayu, was great. They offer Brazilian waxing, which is not on the menu, for 330k rupiah. Ayu was patient and friendly, and I had a lovely experience.
When it came to sending me back, they couldn’t arrange anything for me. All their drivers were busy, which was fine, I was happy to wait until a driver was free. But it seemed like the first time they were hearing of this drop-off thing, and that I wasn’t meant to be getting one? I ended up getting a scooter ride with one of the staff back to my hotel.
You’d probably have a better overall experience if you went in a group and they provide all the transport for you, or if you have your own transport.

This place is fabulous. Not as fancy as a spa that you might have visited in Seminyak, but I love that you can hear the crash of the waves and that it's on a relatively quiet part of Nusa Lembongan. I wish the room was just a little cleaner (I could see small bits of volcanic mud scrub used on the last person on the floor, and I wish there were proper floor mats and not just folded up towels outside of each doorway since you're walking around the spa barefoot) but I think they were understaffed that day. Staff were kind and courteous, masseuse was attentive and professional, good ambience, clean facility and great prices. Not the cheapest that you would find on NL or elsewhere in Bali, but still far less expensive than in my home country (USA). All in all, 4.5/5 for the Balinese massage + volcanic body scrub combo that lasted 90 minutes and made me feel like an actual goddess. I would definitely return, and I would recommend to other friends traveling in the area.

I had a fantastic massage with Ria during my trip to Nusa Lembongan. Glo Day spa is more of a nice facility to have treatments performed, but does not have the typical bathrobes/lounge spa of the larger spas. We spent the day at Sandy Bay Beach Club, went to Glo to have massages, showered (they have very nice outdoor showers, ask after your massage), and went back to the beach club for dinner. It is a 2 min walk between places and the beach club will pick you up at your hotel. Ria did excellent deep tissue work.

My Mum and I spent a good 4 hours in the salon last week with the Glo girls. The girls are just the loveliest, they made us feel so welcome and we loved the chats we had with all the girls, especially Ayu’s great sense of humor! Fabulous massage and facial, followed by mani/pedis in a beautiful peaceful salon. Couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day!! Yes, it is more expensive than some local street spas - but you absolutely get what you pay for (and of course significantly cheaper than spas back in Australia)- highly recommend!!

Nice setting, on the beach, however very expensive considering what you can get at other places for the same price. Iv had better massages at cheaper places in Bali, i will not return there for that price.

Hi LorraineRoux - thanks for visiting Glo and for takign the time to write a review. We were sad to read that you thought our massage was expensive - our staff are Australian trained, we use superior products then local spas and of course you have a beautiful spa to have the treatments in. The cost being a lot less then in the western world and comparable to day spas on the isalnd. Please note all products have to be shipped over to the island which is why the island is slightly more then mainland Bali. Thanks again Georgia

Visited Glo spontaneously twice in the last three days for a 30 min back massage and was scheduled in immediately (although they have a busy schedule in general). Great service and very friendly staff!! The massage itself was amazing!!

I have had two treatments here. One 30 min back massage and I brought my teenage daughter for a duo 90 min massage, scrub & mani/pedi. The staff were incredibly attentive and such genuinely beautiful people. Ayu was a wonderful host and Rara's treatment was wonderful. Thank you for looking after us girls x
