I had a really good experience wit Newbro surfing. The people were really nice and helped me a lot to improve my surf skills. They asked before surfing what my goals are and later in the water we tried to improve the different goals. I totally recommend this surfschool!

Snorkelling trip to remember

We went on the Snorkelling tour organised by Newbro Surfing. They provided an excellent service with very responsive messaging. We went all the way over to Nusa Penida Manta Bay and swam with the Manta Rays, absolutely amazing. We then stopped at at another location on Nusa Penida then onto Mangrove Point. This was absolutely unforgettable. Crystal clear waters, so much colourful coral and fish and we saw a turtle. We just drift snorkelled all the way along. We had the best time and would highly recommend Newbro Surfing to organise your Snorkelling tour.

Best surf school on Lembongan.

Newbro Surfing is the best surf school on Lembongan. They were very responsive to messages. They had all the equipment, including, boards, reef shoes, the boats. They took out our teen boys and they had the such an amazing time with Loxy. They boys wanted to go out every morning while we were here. They have great experienced staff who will 100% look after you. 5 stars to Newbro surfing we can highly recommend them. Thankyou for giving our boys an experience they will never forget. See you next time.

Highly recommend Newbro Surfing Crew

We stayed in Nusa Lembongan for 10 days and went surfing on four different days with this amazing crew!
We had such a great time. All of the guys were fantastic teachers. So much fun! The 6am surf lesson on New Years Eve was the best. Gorgeous Sunrise ☀️

Good people, good times

Surfing with NewBro was a fantastic experience. From initial contact to the photos shared after our session, everything was professional and thoughtful. Good equipment and great guides. They took care of both my experienced son and beginner daughter to make sure everyone had a great time in the water. We will definitely surf with them again in the future.

Best bro surf guides!

This was my third time back to Nusa Lembongan and I was happy to see Newbro still here after covid.

These guys are great local surf guides! We had four sessions with them and they gave us awesome knowledge of Razors, shipwerecks, and Ceningan Point.

Our group was 2 x bodyboarders and 1 surfer with mixed abilities and we had no trouble finding waves.

These guys are great fun to surf with and have the best vibe and are genuinely stoked to surf every session with you.

Newbro we will be back!!!

Surfing in rain en wind :-)

This was fun, surfing with a group of 14 from age 16-50. Guides that know what they are doing and only what's us to have a great time, Individually adjusting the level of surfing for each person, so everybody had a great time. This was the second time we surfed with Newbro surfing and we recommend it to all. Great class, great people and just fun for a couple of hours.

The perfect introduction to surfing

We(My wife and I) knew we wanted to give surfing a try and weren't quite sure how or where to start.

When we landed in lembongan , I hunted around tripadvisor to find some local surf center and newbro surfing seemed to be appropriate for everything we needed. I texted them and they promptly replied with all the answers to my questions.

Wayan was out instructor and he came and picked us up. We first went to the establishment and were given reef boots and surf attire. After that we straight away hopped onto the boat and we were off to catch the waves.

we stopped at a shed in the water where wayan explained the theory and made us go through the safety protocols and the dos and donts. We jumped into the water and practiced getting on the board and standing up on it. Its a lot tougher to do in calm waters and opposed to when the board has caught the wave. Almost like trying to balance on a 2 wheeler at a stand still vs when its in motion.
But the idea was to train the body of getting into the habit of standing up on the board. We struggled a little but wayan was very encouraging and reassured us that we were doing just fine.

30 mins later we paddled on the boards to where the waves were a short distance away. Wayan held our boards and picked our waves. He spun the board and pushed the board as the wave approached and physics did the rest. I was able to stand on the board on my first attempt and it dawned on me why surfing is so addicting.

Many more tries later, my arms were sore from all the paddling but I wanted more. Wayan kept our spirits up and we kept going in wave after wave. Some attempts were better than the others. All in all I felt like we learned something and had a great time doing it.

All the newbro staff were super chill, fun yet very professional. After about 2 hours or so we paddled back to the boat and got back to the shop where we showered and the crew then dropped us back to the hotel.

I totally recommend these guys. They are great instructors and you will be in good hands.

Snorkelling Trip

We booked the trip through Chillhouse who were great. The trip itself was excellent and Captain Coconut was clearly experienced… he gave us a briefing and clear instructions at his beach ‘office’ before we climbed on board and he also had 2 extra crew who were excellent and friendly. They also got into the water to help with safety and help find things to see. Safety was clearly at the forefront and they didn’t leave the site until everyone had seen a manta… we also saw turtles at the last site. Well worth it and highly recommended
