About
The trip from WakaSailing’s private marina at benoa Harbour to the stunning Nusa bay takes approximately an hour and a half depending on the wind. The sailing catamaran takes guests on a leisurely cruise cooled by sea breezes. Coffee, tea and pastries await guests after boarding. Indoor and outdoor seating areas allow guests to travel in comfort while enthusiastic fishermen can join the crew throwing lines of the back of the boat.

Me and my parents had a wonderful day trip with Waka Sailing to Nusa Lembongan.
Your day start from nice transportation from your hotel/home. Then you enjoy drinks in Waka’s lounge. And then you enjoy 2 hours on catamaran with welcoming staff and snacks. The private beach club and lunch there are more than our expectations! Also we joined island trip around Lembongan. If you would like to enjoy beautiful trip with snorkeling and all day food and beverage and no thinking about extras - than choose Waka Sailing! The best price for all of that and best service for sure

A catamaran cruise with a real touch of class. Attentive staff, fabulous boat, breakfast on board, free soft drinks all day and excellent buffet lunch in the Waka Beach Club on Nusa Lembongan. Snorkelling and beach location fab. Couldn't fault it at all.

Included:
- Pick up and drop off from your hotel in Bali to Waka Nusa Catamaran
- 90 minute morning ride from Bali to Lembongan Island with snacks included
- Trip out to coral reef in glass bottom boat for snorkeling - equipment also free
- Delicious lunch buffet - the best food we had during our trip, beer and wine also included
- Access to their quaint resort with an awesome view - canoes, pool, volleyball, sunbathing, tour of the island for 4 hours
- Return trip in the evening on the catamaran with snacks included

The catamaran was one of the nicest I've been on, very well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and taken care of. I felt lucky to have found this place as it was by far the best thing we did in Bali. I wish we would have stayed the night at Waka Nusa. If I would have known, we would have stayed there for a night or two. I believe the nightly stay also includes everything from the day stay and for not much more money.

I am shocked that this does not get more reviews!

Let me first confirm: Yes it is expensive. Yes it is well worth it.

If you have had an island "tour" before - you may have experienced being crammed into a speed boat meant for 20 but yet holding 50 people. Waka Sailing provides a totally different experience!

Upscale - Clean - Luxurious - Spacious - Enjoyable are all the words I would use to describe the adventure.

The sailing to and from the island was absolutely a highlight! The ocean breeze against your face as you sit out on deck and watching the sun set is a thing someone must experience one in your life.

The lunch provided is delicious! and most of all - CLEAN! I've been to lunches before where the flies were eating more than the people were.

OH! AND A CLEAN BATHROOM! Trust me - this is more than what you can say about most island tours.

Staff was absolutely wonderful! The captain (or host?) was fantastic. I wish I could remember his name. Everyone is super nice and very welcoming!

If I had to knick pick on the experience - there would be 2 things I would love for them to make better:

1) Better payment/appointment system. As a person from the US, their method of payment from a certain internet portal seemed very strange to us. I wish they would just take a credit card straight from their business instead of having us pay with credit card through a 3rd party. That was strange and felt a bit weird.

2) Life vest for snorkeling - Unfortunately they did not have my size (I'm a pretty big guy with broad shoulders). So I had to "invert" a smaller life jacket and wear it awkwardly to snorkel. They should really have bigger ones.

Beyond that - the entire day spent with Waka Sailing was absolutely stunning! My wife and I would definitely do it all over again given the opportunity. We recommend anyone that reads this review to give them a chance!

Though the catamaran ride was pleasant, the the crew was friendly and helpful, the entire experience was ruined once we got to Nusa Lembongan. The beach was littered with trash, the water was filled with seaweed and because of all the boats, there was a foamy scum on the surface. Who wants to swim in that water??
The lunch was better than expected, but for over $135 US per person, they could have included more than one beer or glass of wine.
But the biggest disappointment was the snorkeling. The area we were taken to was so packed with boats, diving platforms, tie lines, ropes and people, that there was barely any room to swim.
There is a new toll bridge which connects the harbor to the Nusa Dua area. The price we paid included pickup and dropoff services, and in the morning there was no problem. However, in the afternoon, the driver refused to pay the toll for the bridge amd tried to get money from all the passengers. Then to add insult to injury, he took us to the wrong hotel.
I would NEVER recommend the Waka, and I suggest you think twice before booking.

Dear Mr. / Mrs. Werhappy2travel, Thank you for sparing your valuable time to post your feedback on Trip Advisor regarding your recent trip with WakaSailing. We regret to note that you were not satisfied with the services and facilities offered by WakaSailing and had cause to complain. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. For your kind information, during peak season in August, the publicly accessible snorkeling area at Nusa Lembongan Island does get busy. We will try to locate a safe and quite snorkeling area for WakaSailing guests in the future. I would like to inform you that for the convenience of our guests the transport company always uses the new toll road to cut down the travel time between Benoa Harbour and hotels. We would like to assure you that the incident of transport driver requesting toll road fee of IDR 10,000 (USD 0.90) per car has been brought to the attention of the concerned driver and necessary action has been taken to ensure there is no similar recurrence in the future. Thank you for having chosen WakaSailing and we look forward to again welcoming you in the near future. Sincerely yours, Ni Made Putrini Operation Manager Waka Excursions

Started at 9 AM, a 2 hour journey in the ocean to the Nusa Bay. The yacht was well stuffed with soft drinks and music. The bay was good followed with lunch. Good food and a visit to the village. The return journey was relaxing.

I tried Waka Sailing last saturday, and I had sooo much fun with my friends.
The catamaran is beautiful, the service excellent and the staff very professional and friendly.
After sailing for an hour 1/2, we arrive at Lembongan island in their beautiful beach club, turquoise water, white sand beach, BBQ ...just paradise.
They propose a boat tour for snorkeling, glass-bottom boat or to visit a village during the day.

If you want to leave Bali for a day, I totally recommend it !!!!

I wanted to organise a relaxing day on the water, that would allow us to enjoy sailing on a catamaran as well as some snorkelling while in Bali. And that was exactly what we got. We were picked up at 0730 by the driver who took us down this horrible looking road, where he dropped us off at the Waka Marina. We were given a glass of juice and our ticket for the boat. We jumped on the beautiful boat and were given the safety demonstration and some morning tea. The staff on the boat were amazing and very accommodating. My partner and I jumped up to the front of the boat and sunbaked in the forward nets. Shortly after we arrived at Lembongan we went out snorkelling - it was a little crowded and we were surrounded by people who can't really swim that well, but that was to be expected when going on a day trip. We then returned back to enjoy the most beautiful buffet lunch. We decided to skip the village tour and instead lounge around the pool and beach, enjoying a few cold drinks. The boat is somewhat a 'dry' boat, but the crew were more than happy for us to grab a couple of beers for the sailing home. We sat up the front again, got a little wet from some of the wave, but really enjoyed the experience as a whole. I would definitely recommend this day trip!

Was recommended this cruise by the hotel and described as slightly more expensive but better quality than others. It turned out to be spot on!

I would suggest booking direct through the company website - discounts are available on the Thursday trip through direct bookings and not through other agents. It was about US$40 saving per person.

Great to be picked up by personal car and driver rather than grouped together and picking up at other hotels. Arrived at departure point and morning welcome drink.

The catamaran is very spacious with plenty of room as only around 30 guests on boat. Pleasant cruise/ small boat transfer to Nusa Lembongan where you can either go snorkeling or straight to WakaBeachClub. Once there, this place was excellent- right on the beach (which itself is good not great), nice refreshing pool, plenty of loungers or deckchairs and great music to create a very relaxed atmosphere. The buffet lunch was exceptional with plenty of variety and all freshly prepared. Highlight of the day!

After a couple more hours relaxing, it’s the cruise back with a sunset cocktail and cheese. Finally private car back to your destination.

Service the whole day was excellent and a credit to all. Thank you and I will thoroughly recommended!
