I visited Tonglu in late December 2017, i have started my trek form Dhotre . it took around 5 hrs to reach . The sunset and sunrise was really awesome. we can see nearest view of Kanchenjunga .

at absolutely outstanding view of the Kanchenjunga and the other peaks, small sleepy town with a lovely school ground, do trek to this place and further to Tumling, its a experience in itself

Tonglu is Gateway of Singalila National Park. It is 10 km far from Maneybhanjamln. But many trekkers prefer the other route, I.e. from Dhotrey which is 5km just. There are few hotels, trekker's hut in Tonglu.
