We were 8 seniors aboard the Celebrity ship Eclipse and were not allowed to disembark upon arrival at San Antonio, Chile because of Chilean government's fear of Covid-19. We called several days before arrival to cancel our tour because we were not going to be able to attend. The Maipo Valley Wine Tour company informed us that they would like to refund our money but that they simply didn't have the money to refund.... $1,456.00. Our tour date was for March 16, 2020 booked by our group leader on invoice #maipo-7912483. BEWARE !

We we were a group of four Canadian ladies and took a chance on this tour. Well, we could not have been more pleased with our fabulous day of fun, wine, food and laughter! Christian & Helen were are guides for our group of 12 mixed ages, genders and nationalities. The one thing we had in common was that we were going to have a great day! We went to four wineries: we were served a light brunch with wine at a artisans house; next we went to a winery to learn about the region and the soil, grapes and history and enjoyed wine; next we went to a small farmhouse and was served a wonderful tasty lunch outside under trees with more wine; finally we went to a large vineyard where we relaxed outside and enjoyed different types of wine. If you like to have fun and enjoy lots of wine .... then this is the tour for you! Thanks for the wonderful memories! Noella Ontario, Canada

We took this tour on March 16, 2020, things were really beginning to change due to COVID-19. The tour was modified due to some wineries closing or not accepting visitors, but that made no difference...the tour was GREAT! It was a small group of 7 and Christian our guide was just great. His knowledge of wine and Chile was extraordinary. The food was excellent, breakfast with a great local artist, lunch at a beautiful B & B style location and of course all the great wines. We would absolutely take this tour again. It was our last full day in Chile and with a bit of world chaos around us, it made our last day there perfect. We hope that Christian and all the people who made our tour so nice are healthy and doing well.
