This is one of the best shortish walks in the area. Took us just under 2 hours with photo stops. You are hiking down into the valley so the ascent and descent are pretty steep and a good workout with lots of steps but it...More

My wife and I did this 6km loop walk in approx 2 hours. Having completed many walks in the Blue Mountains previously, this will become one of our favorites. Great views at the start over the valley from Evans Lookout, then a steady descent to...More

This hike was one of the best I did so far! It is amazing to walk thorough the canyon and see all the caves and the forest. It is definitely worth it to drive the few minutes from Katoomba to the Evans lookout for this...More

This 6 kilometre walk takes you from a mountain ridge down into a valley and then back up to the mountain ridge in a loop. Climbing the stairs upwards at the end of the walk was extremely strenuous and tiring. However, the walk along the...More

This walk has a fantastic mix of rainforest, overhanging rocks, streams and beautiful scenery. We did it clockwise which meant we had a steep descent to start with and then a gradual climb back up out of the valley. That suited us and, judging by...More

We did this walk with our two kids aged 9 and 11 and they loved it! It is basically a big loop but you should note that you start the stair decent at Evans Lookout but end up going up the stairs to a different...More

As the title suggests I am scared of heights so a lot of the steeper tracks in the Blue Mountains are not achievable by me. This track is very steep at the beginning and the end (lots of stairs) and one should be fit to...More

The walk is very beautiful, from the top to bottom and again, the weather at this season is perfect for hiking, it’s not so hard even suitable for hiking families, and the views are amazing, takes between 2-4 hours

We began from Evans Lookout, so our beautiful walk started with stunning views of the valley, with its sandstone cliffs glowing through the breaks in the tree line. The path takes you immediately down into the canyon via a terrific stairway which has been cleanly...More

Hi Kate, Yes! Tripadvisor, doesn't allow me to post the link, but we followed the route from wildwalks "Grand Canyon, Cliff Top and Pope’s Glen Track". It comes with a detailed description and map.
