Had a day out with the lab group. I have never seen something like this before! So calm and peaceful!

Wonderful scenery and great views. If you start early you can actually see a lot of stuff in one day. But you can also stay (much) longer. Do a boat/canoe/pedal boat trip down the gorges. Do not miss the round trip starting and ending in La Palud sur Verdon.

We were short on time and planed to do the south river bank from the area of Castallene to Lac de Sainte-Croix‬. We swimmed at the river near to all campsites and stopped at almost every view point, and without noticing it was evening so we spent the night at Trigance and continued the next morning and it was totally... If you love driving, this is the place to go. Switch back roads, gorgeous, gorgeous views everywhere. Be aware that the roads are very tight, so you are passing very close to other drivers and the edge of the road! Spectacular views. Many places to safely pull over and get out to enjoy a few minutes of the view.

This is a really amazing location that can not be missed. Lovely canyon, beautiful natural settings and lovely and typical provence little towns to be visited.

If you're afraid of heights, be prepared! Otherwise it's well worth the drive. Because of the season, we crossed paths with very few cars. Bring food with you because, depending on your timing, you may not be able to find any open restaurants in the nearby towns.

Way better than expected. We rented a waterbike to go in, both times we went we atayed 2 hours. There are many people when it's season so you should think about that. The water is pleasant, warm and very, very clean. It's amazing to see all the mountains around. We jumped from the cliffs, which was such a memory. Unfortunately, in the... More

Amazing deep canyon. Awe inspiring views. Totally beautiful. Roads are windy narrow and some sheer drops off the side. Clear blue waters in the River Verdon at the base. Be sure to Also visit the Lac Sainte Croix at the west end.

We had a picnic by the Lac de Sainte Croix and then went to view the gorge from the bridge as the river enters the lake. We then took a drive on the road to the north of the gorge and got many spectacular views on the road to La Palud-Sur-Vedon. The road was very busy with many viewpoints being... More

I was shocked in a good way because even tho I knew that it is a massive canyon I was surprised how huge and wide it really is , we drove up the serpentine road along the canyon and well drive CAREFULLY because the local people drive faster than they should and there are not much barriers to keep u...
