Extremely helpful and knowledgeable host and a TON of material to take with you to explore.
I would recommend the Mattentaarten trails in the city, you must also taste the "rebelse" Mattentaarten, they are the best according to us.

The Permanensje is located in the centre of town, near town hall, church and market place.
You be provided with a lot of intresting details to visit the town of Geraardsbergen and even the possibilities in the region are shown well in pushing the bottoms of a touch screen.
Although you can describe me as a local I was surprised to find so much instructions to make a pleasant visit.

must see in Gerraardsbergen including the city market place so nice and cosy.from here you can make a nice walking tour over the ''muur of gerraardsbergen'' famous of the cycling

a small but worth the visit for 20mins, museum on the Mannekin Pis and also the local Mattentart, well worth the stop
