Really enjoyed my tour of the vineyard and the wine tasting with Elisa and Cornelia (sister/owner). I was fascinated that they cultivate only one grape varietal – but produce 5 unique and wonderful wines. The grape is local to this area – Garganega – and grows well in the dry, volcanic soils. I think the tasting is around 15 euro and includes cheese made by one of the brothers and local breads. Everything they serve or produce is local and high quality. They were starting the harvest, done by hand, and beginning to dry some of the grapes for their Recioto dessert wine (there’s also a red Recioto produced at other vineyards in the Valpolicella region). Tessari also has a beautiful B&B adjacent to the winery/tasting room, that was renovated very recently. It’s modern and roomy, with still a touch of the historic building it’s housed in. The top floor has a sunroom with a jacuzzi that looks like a great place to relax, year round. I would like to come back and stay - it was a lovely experience. Call ahead for a tasting and tour and they will welcome you with open arms.…

My friend and I discovered this wine tasting experience through Airbnb when looking for things to do around Verona. The two ladies who run the tour, Sara and Cornelia, were extremely helpful and friendly. They offered to drive us to and from San Bonifacio station for only €3 each (compared to the €20 each way the taxis charge!), then provided a tour of the vineyard and the wine-making process which was comprehensible even to two people who knew nothing about wine! There was a great selection of five wines provided at the wine tasting alongside local cheese and salami. I would definitely recommend this experience! …

This was a very good wine experiance for me and my girlfriend. We got an intro to the history of the winary, then we were shown around the winery. It is a beatiful and very clean winery. Then we were shown the fields and walked there a little. This is at good place to take some pictures. Before we went back inside, we where shown their b’n’b, which looked very nice. Now it was time to taste the wines. All of them (5) were good and the explaination was good. The host she was very kind. If in the area, go here. You’ll get good wine and you’ll learn something. The tour and tasting lasted about 1 1/2-2 hours. It was around 20€ pp…

...of Italian hospitality and superb wine! Following a recommendation we discovered a very nice winery close to Verona. After a warm welcome, Cornelia guided us through the winery and explained their philosophy and tradition. She passionately described the different wines and we could experience the „outcome“ while tasting the wine. They offer white wines and sparkling wines which can be enjoyed during summer just on its own or for dinner. The wines have different characters but never too prominent which makes it hard to decide which one taste better. They offer also on sparkling wine produced in the traditional way and this would definitely be something special when you host guests. We have been very glad that we have left the normal wine routes along the Lago di Garda and that we have found that lovely winery! If you are looking for tasty and special wines, this is the right place!…

My adult son and I visited this family winery for tasting as part of a tour. Everything we so professional. Our host provided comprehensive and clear information in a friendly but structured manner. The facilities are orderly, clean and demonstrate a well organised business. Also of importance the wines (white and sparking) were delicious. A plate of nibbles complemented the tasting.…
