The place is easy to reach and parking is not a problem. Plus you are at the heart of the watchmaking region in the watchmaking country. It can be reached via public transportation, but is is no easy task ... Consider a car. The museum in itself is very small, the visit should not keep you busy for more than... More

Plenty of antique and modern watches and clocks. Interesting to visit with or without a guide, plus a short video which explains the region and the beginnings of watch-making in the region

Our guided tour was very good. Watch out for the opening times. The collection is quite remarkable. Allow enough time for this visit.

Mixed feelings about this place. You can't deny that this museum has put a lot of effort in modernizing their exhibition: 3D-movies, tablet, fancy interactive multimedia tables. They really do their best to make the experience of learning about the fine craftsmanship of making watches fun. But somehow they didn't manage to grab my interest, perhaps there was just too... We spent a very interesting few hours at this fascinating museum in the Vallee de Joux. It is both informative about the history of watchmaking with many fine pieces also interactive with table skills and a 3D film. I really hadn't expected to enjoy the experience as much as I did.

Interesting watch museum in the heart of the watchmaking region in the Vallée de Joux. Watches and clocks through the ages, lots,of interesting pieces and an explanation of how watches are made. Several contemporary pieces from famous watchmakers.

Definitely worth seeing if you are in the area. I'm not particularly interested in watches, but I found this interesting, it kept me interested for an hour. I will never look at watches the same again after realizing how much work goes into them.

Quite a well done and fascinating exhibition about the watchmaking industry. I think that the primary purpose of this exhibition - which is partially funded by the watchmaking companies in the town - is to interest young Swiss (12 to 18 years of age) in considering an apprenticeship in the watchmaking industry. The exhibition would certainly be of interest to... More
