Several number of tombs were visited by me along with my friends. The museum was the center of attraction. Besides, the scinic beauty of the area was eye catching. We found a 3d video player explaining the area in the street and projectors showing the history inside the museum.
All you have pay is 1500krw as entry fee and rest of all are free of cost.

Tomb of King Muryeong is probably the most significant Baekje era sight in Gongju if not all of Korea. When accidentally discovered in the 1970's, it became the first Korean royal tomb to be opened in over a millennium. Like the tombs in Gyeongju, the tombs just look like mounds. While the actual tombs cannot be entered, the museum contains good replicas of the chambers.

So much to see on this leg of our tour. Bulguksa Temple, Tombs of Royals and nobles, (Seeing those grass covered mounts and hearing stories of the families buried, along with museum collectibles) are unforgettable. Seeing oldest existing astronomical observatory, Gyeongju folk craft Village and the Anapji pond, will always be imprinted in my mind. We covered all this is 2 half days. Our guide Grace was on a roll, she’s a true ambassador for her country. Lots of patience and understanding. She also took us to restaurant called Sanaeum restaurant, ( I think), serving original cooking style korean food. Kudos to our Travel Agent Kate DeLosso. We will always remember these tours.

and his wife's. He ruled the Baekje Kingdom from 501 to 523. This is one of the rarely intact tombs and major archeological discoveries in Korea. The tomb was accidentally discovered during water drainage work on the No. 5 & 6 tombs in 1971. It had been untouched by grave robbers and thieves for over a millennium, and when it was excavated it was the first time the tomb had been opened since the bodies of the king and queen were interned there fifteen hundred years earlier.

For those interested in Korean history, this type of site will be interesting. Gongju, Buyeo, and Iksan are full of Baekje relics including temple ruins, fortresses, palace ruins, and tombs. The exact replica of King Muryeong's tomb will impress most visitors buy its excellent design and craftsmenship.

These sites are actually part of a greater complex of sites that is being planned for a Unesco world heritage site. Regardless of the nominations potential success in the coming years, the remains of the exctinct Baekje culture are fascinating for those interested in East Asia history.

Disappointing as it's mainly replicas and the public aren't actually given access to the real tombs themselves.

I suppose if you're interested in South Korean history or want to go for a stroll, it's worth a look, but it's not something I would recommend going out of your way for.

Visitors can't go into the real tombs but the exhibition hall has very detailed replicas :) The items were nicely displayed and information, informative. My friend and I also walked on the visitors path outside, and that was quite a short but nice walk. For more details on the tomb and to see some of the artifacts that were excavated in the tomb, I would suggest going next door to the National Gongju Museum :)

As you will come to expect the grounds and artifacts on display are all kept and presented in an immaculate way.

The mock up of the tombs was effective and the story boards in English are very descriptive.

Well worth walking all the way over to the Gongju National Museum where many of the original artefacts are on display.

Well worth a visit.

The park is small and most of the artifacts are replicas, but the replicas are very informative and done in excellent manner , the walk through the park is pleasant. Not much to see to the casual traveler, so you may want to skip this one, but travelers that want to learn Korean history and enjoy history , this is a very nice place to visit
