Tomb of King Muryeong is probably the most significant Baekje era sight in Gongju if not all of Korea. When accidentally discovered in the 1970's, it became the first Korean royal tomb to be opened in over a millennium. Like the tombs in Gyeongju, the tombs just look like mounds. While the actual tombs cannot be entered, the museum contains good replicas of the chambers.

Several number of tombs were visited by me along with my friends. The museum was the center of attraction. Besides, the scinic beauty of the area was eye catching. We found a 3d video player explaining the area in the street and projectors showing the history inside the museum. All you have pay is 1500krw as entry fee and rest of all are free of cost.
