Beautiful beach and town. Not sure that teenagers would like it as they may get bored. Slower pace. Nice sunsets and small towns fairly close to visit for shopping, etc. A place to relax. Bathrooms on the beach are kept clean.

This beautiful beach was quiet, not crowded at all, and so relaxing. Though the water is cold, walking barefoot in the water feels very relaxing. There are many shops and restaurants along the beach. Best place for a quiet walk along a scenic beach, with...More

Beautiful beach, beautiful setting. The town was so cute.. there is an old bus that serves tacos, a wooden ship (that are loos I think) and a couple of very nice ice cream shops. .. Friendly locals.. All in all a good place to visit.

A grand freshwater beach without the saltiness of sea water and thats the best part as you need not to bother about salt damaging your skin. We went with bunch of friends there, took a dip, played beach volleyball. In the last evening did barbecue...More

Love visiting the beach as long as it's not on a weekend. It gets very busy in the weekends, hard to find parking, it takes really long to drive around the town on the weekends because of traffic. However, during the week, its beautiful, calm...More

Home sweet home! 11km of white sand freshwater beach on the shores of Lake Huron. Lots of great shops and restaurants, mini-golf and arcades. World-class sunsets not to be missed!!!

Sauble Beach is on Lake Huron, small town feeling, not at all like Wasaga, quiet getaway, family oriented. Most amazing beach and sunsets. Lots to do. Stock car racing for those enthusiasts every Sat. night. Watch movies, on or near the beach. Live entertainment, classic...More

Lake Huron stretches across the horizon in front of you. Especially beautiful at sunset. Hard packed sand is easy to stroll along. You can find tiny treasures along the shore and it is very clean. We were there off season and it was tranquil. You...More

Pets are allowed on the public beach (East side) but definitely not on the private beach. The private beach is obviously paid entrance so there is some control right at the "gate". Hope this helps!
