The family love to have a swim in the sea and Walton in a nice place to do it. The beeches are clean and well kept.

Fabulous miles of golden sands and lapping waves capture the essence of old school British beach holidays. Classic style and memories of a distant childhood the peaceful Walton has not lost its charm. A jewel to behold.

Walton beach is lovely and level there are places you can set up for all day on the beach where the tide does not come up to the wall. The Naze tower walk is good lots to learn and see. Come spend the day at...More

This is a beautiful flat sandy beach that is full of pretty seashells which has some stunning coastal views, its great to take a gentle stroll along & there are plenty of eateries nearby too.

A wonderful long stretch of golden sand. Shame about the steps down to the beach that, in a lot of places, are cordoned off due to safety reasons. Not much going on when we visited, probably more to do in the summer.

Drove there this morning at 8am and had a lovely walk along the beach between the last fisherman cafe and hipkins tea rooms. Nothing is open, not even the public toilets and so emphasis is firmly on admiring the view, listening to the waves, beach...More

There is a pier but it is showing some serious wear and tear. There is a bowling alley. The amusement arcade is OK. There are some rides but the area they are in seems to be getting refurbished.

Most of it is just wet sand when the tide goes out. There are some mud patches but nothing that stops you having fun.
