So the tower is currently closed due to CV19, but we were also there to walk the 6k circular route which takes in Walton beach as well as the estuary and Walton Channel. There are information boards dotted around the route as to the wildlife and history of the area. The paths were well worn and suitable for training shoes but not pushchairs or similar. Well worth the effort and cold drink from the visitors centre.

We were lucky enough to visit on a clear sunny day. it is well worth the climb to the top, fantastic views 360 degree. On the way up there is tea room and art galleries, also well worth a look. Back down on the ground is a visitor centre/ cafe

Tall tower with fantastic views form the top looking out to sea and along the coast worth the walk up. Each floor has a variety of artwork to look at and purchase if you wish there was some really nice stuff. There was a cafe on the ground floor with a very reasonably priced and varied menu particularly for the small space they operated from the staff were very friendly. The coffee wasn't great but the cake was fabulous.
