tutta la Città merita la sosta di almeno DUE giorni , la Corte e da guardare pietra per pietra , vicoli e portali storici

Poco valorizzato, ma forse il palazzo più prestigioso

Questo pregevole palazzo, costruito nel XVI secolo, è noto soprattutto per essere stata l'abitazione di Giuliano Della Rovere, cardinale e fratello del duca Guidubaldo II.

La facciata, come in altri palazzi di Fossombrone, è abbellita da un grande portale bugnato ed è in arenaria e, nonostante non viva degli antichi splendori di un tempo, è forse uno dei palazzi di maggior pregio giunti fino a noi.

A completarne la ricchezza artistica segnalo un bel ballatoio, l'ampio cortile con portico su di un lato e la cappella privata del Cardinale, con notevoli stucchi, opera del Brandani.

Vi consiglio di percorrere la parallela (in alto rispetto a Corso Garibaldi) via Battisti e, seppur solo da fuori, di ammirare questo storico palazzo.

Peccato sia poco valorizzato...a mio parere potrebbe essere uno dei monumenti di maggior pregio e richiamo di Fossombrone

Старинная резиденция

Выше центральной улицы старого города есть небольшая узенькая улочка с домами 15-16 веков. Среди них бывшая резиденция герцога Урбино. На самом здание внушительный герб. К сожалению внутрь попасть не удалось, так как было закрыто.
