A must-see if you are interested in board games. The museum is located in a castle overlooking the lake and the 201 bus between Vevey and Montreux drops you at the end of the road. The museum is small but the rooms are crammed with...More

This museum takes you through a history of games, with some interesting exhibits and definite interactivity in being able to play a large number of games in the ‘play’ rooms. The castle itself is lovely, and worth a little visit just for that, and with...More

Musee Suisse du Jeu is not the only museum at the lakefront, but it is certainly the only museum collecting children's games at the lakefront. The museum is housed within an old castle, making it attractive to both children and adults. Every Sunday the local...More

Terrible puns sorry. This is a very hands-on museum lots of games for the children and adults to play - largely for older children, but I still had fun playing chess, draughts, 3men's morris and alawé with the little ones. The pub games room is...More

The exterior of this miseum bears a striking resemblance to a castle especially being so close to the waters edge for defense. Musee Suisse du Jeu is the Swiss museum of games, highly interesting.

This very quiet museum is located in an old castle sitting along the lake of Geneva. The items are all very well presented and were fun to examine. I was sorry the museum did not have a catalogue we could buy nor reproduction of some...More

For such a little museum, my family spent A LOT of time here -- almost 4 hours. There were interesting displays of games throughout history and in different cultures. What fascinated us the most were the games rooms (one upstairs, one downstairs). My family is...More

Even if you don't want to go inside you can have a walk around it and enjoy the magnificent view or the charming small restaurant which is hidden inside the museum.
